If you were in Sweden or Norway a couple of nights ago, you saw more than just the beautiful Northern Lights - but an unexpected and extreme "natural" fireworks show! And you may have even thought aliens were invading! According to Forbes and other news outlets, however, NASA and the Andøya Space Center were just doing an experiment. They apparently sent two rockets up into the Northern Lights, releasing a metallic powder or gas intended to measure and "investigate" the atmosphere.
