There have been multiple mass UFO sightings in Texas over the past few days, making this latest report all the more intriguing. Check out the witness drawing and testimony submitted to MUFON: I was walking South on Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio Texas 78258 at approximately 9:30 PM having just crossed Arrow Hill road/intersection when I looked across the street to the East and noticed an extremely pure brilliant white light in the sky. My first thought was that the lights were extremely bright for a passenger plane. I immediately realized that the object was not a plane because of its size and speed and the shape of the object. This object was flying slightly East of Highway 281 North in the direction of Randolph Air Force Base. I realized that the object was not a plane because it had no sound and the brilliant white lights remained as this object continued Southward and out of site. Because the speed of the object was so fast I decided to count until it was out of my sight. All and all I witnessed the object for about 15 seconds however from the time it was directly in line with me to the time it was out of my sight was roughly eight seconds.I have drawn a picture and attached it below of the object I witnessed in the sky. Logically I know I should not be so confident about the shape and size of the object because the object was against the night sky and the display of brilliantly bright white lights which went around the object should have concealed the object. Regardless I was able to clearly make out the shape of the object.Just as the object left my sight a passenger plane approached the standard downwind leg on its approach to the San Antonio Airport. There is no doubt in my mind that the pilots would have seen this object in the night sky due to how bright the object was, and the speed in which it was traveling. Another reason I believe they would have seen this object is because it flew directly through the passenger plane downwind flight path from the North to the South and the passenger plane was only 10 seconds away from the point of where I first had seen the object to when the passenger plane flew through the objects path at roughly the same altitude of the object. The object I witnessed did not flash or change colors in any way. For the most part the exterior lights remained constant however on two occasions it appeared as if the lights strobed around the object twice in the time I witnessed it in the sky. Did you see this object, too? Report your sighting.

Remember the video of the blue light caught in a Houston thunderstorm? Well, Texas UFO Sightings has recieved two NEW reports of a strange blue light hovering and also wobbling about the sky. However, one sighting happened in Central Texas while the other happened way up in Amarillo. Whether or not these UFOs are related, they are definitely worth sharing here. Here's the anonymous witness report out of Amarillo: A blue light hovered, moving irratically over Amarillo. It looked to be no bigger than a drone. It was completely silent. It looked to be over the Western & I-40 area of town. It appeared at 9pm, moved around for 10 minutes, then went below the tree line at 9:10 pm. And another witness report out of Live Oak: Bright blue light coming from new braunfels area in sky. I saw it while I was at the light at toepperwien. I drove down the access road right by world car and Jordan ford dealership. The blue light was right next to me bout 200 yards away in the sky no sounds at all. Just bright blue kinda like LEDs. It stop completly and started dancing around live oak neighborhood. I have video I can't seem to figure out how to load it. Can you add to this story? Did you see this strange blue light, too? Report your sighting. Apparently there is video of this event and if I'm able to track it down, I will update you guys! View Blue Light August 17th in a larger map
"a black noiseless triangle shaped craft over my house in south Texas." Since there are not many details to along with this one, I can't rule out that this might even be an old video edited to look new. Or just a normal plane that is being recorded in a shaky way.
So, if you saw this UFO over Texas, too, please shed some light and report your sighting! October 24th, 2014 Update: Mass sightings all over Texas & worldwide, too. Read the latest.. With a promised show from the Perseid meteor shower and a spectacular thunderstorm coloring the night of August 11th in Houston, it's no surprise folks had their cell phones and cameras pointed up at the sky. Doesn't mean the night of August 11th didn't have a few surprises in store. Specifically, an extraterrestrial visitation. Or... street light? Well, at least some think the photograph above - apparently taken by a local DJ Monday night and quickly spread wildfire-style all over Twitter - is really just a reflection of a nearby, similarly shaped street light. MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network, says "It’s no more than light trapped in the side window." Still, others speculate it's one of NASA's much-talked-about experimental flying saucers - after all, the Johnson Space Center is located in Houston. Another popular explanation for the above photo - and the many other videos and photos to have surfaced since - is ball lightning, a new light phenomenon to scientists that is often triggered by thunderstorms. "Hoax," of course, has been tossed around, but considering how many people have reported seeing this event, that is unlikely. Many fake photos and at least one fake video have indeed hit the web, but that tends to happen when a legitimate UFO sighting becomes such an attention grabber that others try to latch on to its popularity by pretending to have hoaxed it. To make matters ultra confusing, an apparent pal of the original witness tweeted to him "hahah good one @djnayyz that’s actually the reflection of the highway lights on the glass door I can’t believe you fooled the news well they believe what ever you tell them." I can't find this tweet. Oddly enough, I also received the photo in question in my own inbox, but there was a different name attached to it - not DJ Nayyz'. They claimed they were harassed on Twitter and told to say the photo was a fake. In fact, the more I investigate, the more apparent "original eyewitnesses" I find. Why all the confusion... disinfo? Regardless, Texas UFO Sightings was inundated with dozens of UFO reports - most commonly detailing a circular shaped craft hovering over the Northwest section of Houston. YouTube, Twitter, and other parts of the web, as mentioned, were also abuzz. Several local news outlets have already picked up on the story, including Click 2 Houston: Check out two additional photos taken by DJNayyz (or Nathanial Xavier): And here are a few new ones that were submitted to Texas UFO Sightings, notice how the objects appear triangular in shape here: Could this sighting be related to a similar sighting from Hondo, TX (west of San Antonio) the night before? Check out the photo and witness description submitted to Texas UFO Sightings: Now, to really make things interesting. We've got video. Sorry, videos. The first of these videos was reportedly uploaded by a man named Andrew Pena, and it has been re-broadcrast - along with the original Twitter photos - on local news stations and all over YouTube. First, screenshots: Now, the video: The second of these videos features a pair of strange lights out of Houston, mingling with the lightning, but this time we don't see any "saucer" shape: Witness description and video: "2 unexplained flying objects. One falling with a slight shadow under and above to the left. Then a couple seconds later you see a small flying object then it zooms off." Is your head hurting yet? I'll leave you with a smattering of the many reports I received, one even suggesting this UFO to be the lights of a helicopter pad, and another suggesting that there are many false eyewitnesses to this event: My daughter and I saw the same circular lights in the sky you have in your August 14 photo. Again this was on an overcast cloudy night. We were in downtown Houston at the time of our sighting, on I-45 north. What you are seeing is the Helicopter pad lights on one of the downtown skyscraper rooftops, reflecting off of the bottom of a low hanging, dark, storm cloud. It's not a U.F.O. The lights show up as white lights, don't change color, pulse, or move, if you stand stationary when viewing them. Usually they are only seen during lightning storms, as the dark clouds hang low over the city, and they briefly appear as lightning flashes to the left or right of their reflection on the bottom of a low hanging storm cloud. U.F.O debunked Already this month, Texas UFO Sightings has featured a triangular craft over Laredo and a spooky blue light caught up in a thunderstorm in Houston. It is definitely a very active time for UFOs in Texas right now.

8/26 Update: This was a mass sighting. Read the latest. Manny V of Houston sent Texas UFO Sightings an image of a saucer-shaped set of lights floating in the sky. According to the witness, it was popping in and out of the clouds. The image is quite amazing, to the extent that I can't 100% rule out a hoax. I could not find any images on Google like this, however, so if it is a hoax, it's a new one. Or it's just a plain old UFO. Not like there's anything at all unusual about interesting crafts and strange phenomenon showing up in the Texas sky. Happens daily! Here's the photo and witness description: Cylindrical object with lights hovers around the area flickering on and off and disappearing in and out of clouds. Did you see this, too? Report your sighting!
I'll try to get more info on this, but in the meantime share your theories in the comments or on the Facebook page. |
