October 24th, 2014 Update: Mass sightings all over Texas & worldwide, too. Read the latest.. Remember the saucer-shaped craft that hundreds, if not thousands of Houston, TX residents witnessed recently? Looks like it's making a comeback... Or a hoaxer is up to no good! A really ridiculous video featuring a saucer-shaped craft hovering and spinning has hit YouTube. It's so obvious and silly that your first thought is "fake." Or... maybe "toy." However, the video is not being actively promoted on the web, the YouTuber who uploaded it does not have a history of trolling UFO researchers, and I can't really see any evidence of CGI or video editing (then again, it's super dark). I hate sharing anything that could end up in "joke" land, but I'm going to go ahead and share this one today. If you know of remote-control toys that look like this or see evidence the footage was manipulated, please share your insights in the comments or on the Facebook page. Another suspicious element of the video is the witness stops filming for no apparent reason and does not share details on what happened after - did the craft take off, stay there, etc? Anyways, check it out for yourself: This was taken in a neighborhood at approximately 4:20 - 4:40 AM on September 2nd. With all the spectacular UFO sightings of late - in Houston and California and all over the globe - it's hard to totally discount videos like these.
And of course, if you can corroborate this report, please do!

A couple nights ago, someone in the Houston area spotted a collection of bright lights slowly moving together in the night sky. Could these be balloons, Chinese lanterns, or some other explainable event? After all, this was a Sunday evening, so celebration may have been in order. Or is this much more mysterious and amazing than that? With all that is happening in Houston lately, it's hard to rule out "UFO." Check out a screenshot, the full video, and the witness description: saw this last night (9/14/14) could not figure out what it was, looked to be far in distance. i was headed east on Longenbaugh towards HWY6. Did you see these beautiful but strange lights float over Cypress, too? Please share your experience!
Someone driving in Denton, TX noticed an object with bright white lights forming a square shape hovering in the sky and then suddenly vanishing in mid air. Here is the anonymous testimony submitted to Texas UFO Sightings: I was driving at night, around maybe 10:30pm. I was stuck on some highway traffic near the airport. From a distance I can see something floating in the sky with lights that I assumed was a plane so I ignored it. It was fairly low and going a steady pace. I get a little closer and I'm right underneathe this object...it had four white lights in the shape of a square perfectly aligned from each other. I get a closer look and no airplane is shaped like a square. With four lights. Bright lights at that. The clouds were easy to see through and what I saw was floating on it's side at first but still spinning slowly. I keep staring and I couldn't get any photo because I was driving alone. It goes through these visible clouds you can see through and I'm still watching it. I never once took my eyes off and next thing I know know, it disappears...gone..just like that. I kept looking through the clouds and nothing. No lights, just gone. I sit in awe driving with a blank state and I try to convince myself it's a airplane or jet or something but I see a airplane shortly after and it goes through the clouds and I still can see it. This was no airplane. But what was it? Can you help solve this mystery? Did you see this, too? Report your UFO encounter!
Considering that the recent mass UFO sightings in Houston still remain a mystery, any sighting of a UFO in the area right now is going to be taken pretty seriously. And it looks like we've got another serious UFO sighting in Houston to report. A YouTuber filmed a ball of light hover in the night sky and then also move up and down, left and right, all over the sky. Several minutes of footage are available between two videos, but only one of the videos is necessary to watch: The "Unknown Spacecraft" was changing into multiple colors, flying in eractic areas and as I stepped closer to the craft is flew further away from me. What a sight! Definitely not a plane or a helicopter or a satellite. As usual, share your thoughts about what this could be in the comments or on the Facebook page. And before you yell "drone!" remember that lots of real UFOs and even military crafts are going to go under the radar due to the recent increase in drone activity. Let's be careful not to overlook every great video just because we know drones exist.
In the meantime, if you saw this object in the Houston area, please report it.
A couple in Austin were curious about a flickering, hovering light. When they looked at it through binoculars, they saw white, blue, red and green lights rotating in mid air. Here's the full testimony submitted to MUFON: My wife and I have a place in the Austin Texas that we stay at when visiting the states. It's a rural horse property. We're Americans and we had just finished packing for our trip back to Zürich Switzerland, where we live and work. It was around 1:15am. I wasn't tired so I thought I'd enjoy one last night (officially morning) on our porch which has a nice view of the sky. I sat there making a mental inventory of my trip ahead when I notice what appeared to be a flickering star. There was some light cloud cover but the flickering appeared to be independent of passing clouds. I assumed it was an inbound plane and since the Austin's airport would be closed at that hour, I thought it must be military. However, the lights didn't get any closer or further away and upon closer evaluation with the naked eye, I could see a distinct pattern of blinking lights. About fifteen minutes had passed and being curious, I went inside to get my binoculars. My wife was still up so I asked her to join me outside for a look. We both went outside and to our astonishment, we could see three lights rotating in sequence. The lights were mostly white in color with modest blue, red and green hues. It levitated there for about 30 more minutes, moving only slightly - but passing clouds made its actual movement hard to discern. We are both well educated and I have some aviation and drone experience and yet I can not identify the origin of this light source. What could these Texans have seen?
