January 9th, 2015 update: Read about two January sightings of triangle UFOs in Austin. A Texas UFO Sightings reader witnessed an incredible sight - a large, colorful triangular shaped object hovering, and submitted an anonymous report. I was driving along the high way and noticed an object decending in the distance I assumed was a plane. A few miles later I witnessed a huge object hovering far above triangular in shape with colorful lights all over it. I can only describe it as unexplainable. Have you seen a triangle craft over the Austin area or anywhere in Texas recently? Add to the conversation!

Texas UFO Sightings Reader witnessed a collection of lights hover in the sky, blink in and out, and then take off into the distance . Pretty amazing sight, what could it have been? Read the testimony: My husband and I were heading Eastbound on 380/University Dr, when we noticed four lights, in the shape of a square, hovering very low, further away in the sky, slightly north of 380. As we were sitting in the Kroger/Drug Emporium shopping center parking lot, we continued to watch the lights. They were shining through very wispy light gray clouds. The lights produced a yellowish glow. We then witnessed each light, one by one, fade out, disappearing completely, then reappearing faintly before they shot off through the sky, moving South. It behaved in no way like any aircraft we have ever seen. Unfortunately, it was dusk, and the cloud coverage didn't let my phone camera pick it up. From the time we spotted the lights, to when they finally all flew away, it was ten to twelve minutes. Did you see these lights as well? Help solve the mystery and share your experience!
November 15th, 2014 Update: Another fireball was sighted on November 8th all over Texas. November 4th, 2014 Update: A giant fireball was spotted in the Eastern US on Monday, November 3rd. Starting October 16th and continuing into November, there have been a steady report of meteors sighted in Texas and other neighboring states. In fact, generally speaking, dramatic accounts of huge fireballs have been increasing in frequency over the years. But there's no known meteor shower making an appearance right now. The Orionids should be long gone by now. The sun is active very active, though, so should we be all that surprised by Nature's current firework shows? Or maybe we are seeing debris from the recent crashes of the unmanned NASA rocket and the Virgin commercial spacecraft? Well, let's take a look at what people have been looking at up in the sky to find out! : ) Yesterday morning, a bright object exploded over the Golden Gate Bridge: Saturday November 1, 2014 at 7pm, I I t From SF marina and looking up at the bridge admiring the clear nite I saw this fly over the bridge crash into the marin headlands. We drove over to find it... And Texas might have seen a meteor yesterday, too, according to @Elaykins: The story keeps going. There were some amazing shows on Halloween and the days before. Like the great fireball captured on a sky cam in Hawley, Texas on October 30th (according to Lunarmeteoritehunters.com): I'm sure there are more, but I wasn't able to find any other pictures or videos in my quick research. Lots of reports, though. Here's a sampling of the many, many fireball accounts to hit the Internet (from AMSMeteors.org to MUFON) over the past few weeks... more than one person heard an owl-like screech noise along with their sighting: This was the most astonishing astronomical happening I've ever witnessed. It was huge and looked as though it was only 100 miles from me. - Amanda G, October 31st in Nebraska Did you see this fireball, too? Help solve the mystery and share your experience.
Could it be space junk? Meteor shower? Debris from the recent, unrelated crashes of a rocket and commercial space craft? (The timing is incredible.) Share your ideas in the comments or on the Facebook page.
Texas UFO Sightings received an anonymous report detailing an event that's as startling as it is perplexing. A collection of white strobe lights filled the night sky of a South Texas neighborhood, and formed diamond shapes. When viewed through binoculars, the UFOs appeared almost organic: Approximately 1 am on 10-26-2014 in Linn, Texas, North 281 and west 186 last night we noticed 10 different large strobes pulsating rapidly red, white, green, blue in a diamond formation 10 miles apart from each other making one large diamond formation and in the middle of the formation, 10 or more smaller white strobes pulsating rapidly with sporadic movement. Could very easily tell actual stars from these strobes and they're movement, never seen anything like this before in my entire life. An hour later Even woke up my entire family, just to see if what I saw was actually real, and to my conclusion it was. Every single one of my family members notice everything I noticed without telling them a word. Being retired military I normally don't believe in anything that really can't be explained. With binoculars In hand It was almost as if we were looking through a microscope at living organisms making movement's. Told my family these strobes are possibly military drones just to put my family at ease, even though honestly I don't think they actually were. Can someone explain what we actually saw? Did you happen to see this amazing "performance," as well? Share your story!
This doesn't seem like Chinese lanterns to me, and it's certainly no helicopter, drone, or satellite. Meteor shower? Explosion? Something... alive? Share your ideas in the comments or on the TUS Facebook page.
We've got another great video of a ball of light hovering in the night sky and changing colors (remember Dallas recently?) - green, blue, pink, red, orange, almost all the primary colors make an appearance. Check it out: Oct. 28, 2014 at 1:45 am, beautiful flashing light in sky. Flashing my flash light to communicate with our Galactic Family. The witness is no stranger to this UFO and is assuming its from space, and you never really know, do you? Regardless, it's a great video. Satellite, meteor? Share your theories in the comments or on the Facebook page!
