A Texan witnessed a large seemingly disc-shaped gray object hovering and then suddenly disappearing in Abilene. This is the second sighting of a disc-shaped object in a week - a silver flying saucer-like object was photographed a few nights before. Fortunately they were able to take photo of the UFO before it disappeared. Check out the MUFON report: 
Driving north noticed a dark disc shape object hovering than it moved to the north west and vanished, I took four photos of the object before it vanished! Could this have been the MetLife blimp? It wasn't due for a visit on this day, but was in nearby Fort Worth a night before. Or could this be something more mysterious? Its sudden disappearance makes one wonder.

A couple on the way to the DFW airport from Lubbock spotted a large craft overhead, and watched it pass over them with a humming sound. They were able to notice great detail about the UFO - like its "underbelly" lights forming a triangle. The photos the husband snapped were not of great quality, but they do help support the testimony. Check out the MUFON report: 
My husband and I were driving to the DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth) area from Lubbock last Wednesday/Thursday. Out of complete darkness in the sky a line of bright white lights appears in front of our car. Dome shaped, flashing lights in a repetitive pattern, all white. The craft would disappear then reappear in different spots. Seen over highway 84 heading southeast of Hermleigh, and over I-20 eastbound coming into Sweetwater. We stopped on I-20 to take pics, it flew right over us. The underside had 3 white lights in a triangle shape. Low humming sound, no air moving. My husband took all the pics, he is/was skeptical about ufo sightings. He is not anymore. We have more than 5 pics if anyone wants/needs to see more. This took place between Hermleigh and Sweetwater, Tx. It faded out to total darkness just before we got near Sweetwater exits off the interstate. Our phones kept running out of charge while this object was near and the Bluetooth in my car kept re-syncing while the craft flew over us.

A triangle shaped craft making a "humming" sound moved slowly over a neighborhood in Aledo, Texas, according to a MUFON report submitted today: 
I was doing some wood working in my shop in the backyard. I could her a loud humming sound. I was not using and machines that night I was carving. When I first saw it I ran back and retrieved my phone. When I first seen it I new it was not normal. The object was shaped like something shaped as a boomerang / triangle. It was hovered over a group of houses a cross the street. It was making a loud humming sound that started to change to a vacuum sound. It was moving very slowly then changed direction to the west. I was trying to get a good picture of it. As I was taking a picture it made weird noises like a swishing sound then it was gone. I was pretty shocked over the whole thing. I could not get it out of my mind for a few weeks.

12/23 Update: Reports are trickling in from other witnesses who saw this supposed craft. Texas UFO sightings will be investigating this story closely, and will be providing updates ongoing. 12/19 pdate: As originally suggested, and as many of you are now suggesting, this video feels like a hoax - in its unbelievable detail, yet blurred and movie-like quality. Was the person just filming a movie screen? However, I can personally attest that the witness is not getting any attention or money for this, and it was his mother that sent the footage on (after recording it second-hand on her phone) and she seems sincere. But perhaps she's not in on the joke? Or... perhaps this is one of the best UFO sightings ever? Read the latest from the mother: "He was outside the CSS see with his phone in hand. His wife was inside the car. You can hear it get quiet when she hears him yell. He looked up and it was hovering about 100 feet or so above him. He pointed the camera and about that time it took off. He said he heard no sound except a whirring noise. His voice tells how excited he was. I have had someone comment that they see it often in that area. They thought they were the only ones until they saw his footage. I have questioned him and ask her can say is what you see is what he saw. He is no it a kid. He is 32." A mother and daughter took a break from their drive to photographs some neat looking clouds. On accident, they ended up photographing a strange light that seemed to travel and was shaped like a boomerang up close. Check out the photos and testimony submitted to MUFON: My mother and i was leaving tye texas heading west to trent texas driving on the frontage road i looked up and seen clouds shaped like a poodle so we decided to take a picture to show my kids when we got home. I didnt realise my volume was down when i was taking the pictures so i took 3 to be exact and showed my mother the strange light i had caught i was andstill am pretty freaked out about it and my mom said i just took a picture of an ufo can you please tell me what i had captured asap!
