UFOCasebook.com has found a great UFO sighting out of Temple, TX from April 17th. And it doesn't seem connected to the meteor sightings in that area at the time. Someone, along with their 17-year-old sun, witnessed a reflective (rather than lit) triangle UFO darting around, and even hover, in the sky. The silent craft even moved sideways. The sighting lasted for over an hour. Here's the full report: I was outside talking with my 17-year-old son. We saw a light in the sky that looked like a man-made satellite like the type that can be seen after sunset.
It was moving in a straight line. Object then changed direction several times. Its speed stayed constant. No light sources could be seen on the object, but it was reflective. It changed directions several times and would stop and hover at times. It seemed to be very high up. It also seemed to change altitude. At one point we could make out the triangle shape of object. It always seemed to move with the "front" point going first. It only seemed to move sideways once. Movement did not mimic an aircraft. There was no sound from object. The event last over an hour; it would move all over the sky ike it was surveying the town and surrounding area. We watched the object for just under an hour. At the end of sighting, it simply returned to a straight flight path and went out of sight to the north.

Lunarmeteoritehunters.blogspot.com encountered an outbreak of "fireball" sightings in Central Texas on April 15th. Star gazers in Sunrise Beach, TX (outside Marble Falls), the Grove (near Temple), Belton, and Austin all reported what appears to be a meteor. No doubt with "fireball season" here in April, UFO reports will probably skyrocket a bit. Here's one of the descriptions (from Sunrise Beach): Whitish yellow, like a giant shooting star, could see a breakup of a 'tail' trailing behind it brighter than any star in the sky, less bright than the sun yes like a giant star was falling out of the sky and could have hit the house across the lake from us, but burned out right before it did The reason this supposed meteor (vs UFO) mass sighting is all the other fireball reports - still mysterious - coming out of the area:
