Video of at least two bright white lights behaving strange moves in the sky and seeming to fly parallel to each other has been posted to YouTube, along with a detailed description. Could these UFOs be balloons, flares, or something else explainable? Or are we witnessing extraterrestrial or top secret military crafts or drones? Or something else entirely? Check out the video and be the judge yourself: This is 3 videos combined into one, which I took with my camera phone on August 7th 2016 at 8:30pm across the Galveston bay in Texas.

A UFO - specifically, a "triangular boxed craft, huge with beautiful colored lights under craft to view" - was spotted near the coast and the video and testimony below were both submitted to MUFON. What's interesting is the sighting - which deeply affected the witness - was totally different first-hand than in the video. Read for yourself!: I was traveling east on FM 3005 when I couldn't help but notice this large craft hovering over the beach shoreline with a lot of spectators with families on the beach. Apparently many people saw this large and colorful UFO. Were you one of the lucky witnesses? Tell your tale.
And, as always, if you have ideas on what this was (or wasn't), share them in the comments or on the Facebook community.
Although we don't have any photos (yet!), a pretty amazing event occurred on the Galveston Pier. Three F16s seemed to hunt around for a white egg-shaped object, according to reader Nicole Moore: Watching weather on Galveston Pier live cam, 3 f16s buzzing the area, helicopter soon after following Sea Wall Rd, large white ovoid ufo floating in and out of view through the clouds, for at least 2 hrs and still going, helicopter buzzed exact area flew off in opposite direction, family mbr took screen shots of f16s, and white ovoids, helicopter didnt hang around long enough for a pic, family mbr has the pics I have to get to post Believe it or not, some of the very best sightings happen on the water - the ocean might be a more probable origin of UFOs than even outer space. Especially when man made crafts are involved, too.
I will try to share the photos, but in the meantime, if you saw this event as well, report it!
Texas UFO Sightings reader Gilbert B saw a very odd "long white tube" hovering over the ocean and fortunately submitted a detailed report: A long white tube. It was floating above the Gulf. It was not moving at all that I could see. Was in the air for about 5 minutes, then a black film or smoke covered it and it was gone. I first thought it was a Blimp but it was to thin to be a Blimp? Did you see this object as well? Make a report!
Two Saturdays in a row, folks have reported and uploaded videos of a collection of sparkling lights in the sky, even during the daytime on one occassion. Could this be a case of Chinese lanterns? Looks like it! Not sure if the events that inspired these lanterns were related, however, as this occurred in at least 3 Texas cities. Is there special cause for celebration in Texas right now? Maybe! And why launch Chinese lanterns during the day? As always, keep in open mind - these could very well be UFOs. Check out the photos and witness testimony and judge for yourself! October 18th in Houston: We seen these flying ufo(s) from the back yard of my friends house. We Cant explain what it is, the lights are right above the red and green street light. They are flying really slow you can tell by looking at the lights and looking where they are in line with the street light. No noise whatsoever, I cant tell if its one huge aircraft or several different ones. The lights start to fade and disappear one by one, until they are all gone. My friend said he seen it earlier that day, and I dismissed him as being crazy!! thats why he is saying it in the video. "I told you i wasnt crazy"!! Another video from October 18th in Houston, but this time only one orb is visible and almost appears to pulsate. A comment on the YouTube video by another eyewitness even suggests Chinese lanterns: I saw like three off of I-10 at around 10- 10:30pm , they were pretty small. I was driving so i could not get a good look. I even u-turned went back to see and they were gone. I know they were not helicopters or planes, just too small. Could have been quadracopters or those damn floating Chinese candle things. Just some examples of objects besides Aliens. - comment by Andrew Martinez on YouTube video And last, but hardly least, a sighting out of Galveston on the 25th: Man they like doubled in the amount & then slowly disappeared 1-2 at a time....I was asking Giselle, are you seeing that too or ami I tripping?!?! She's the only one who saw it w me...and they just disappeared until all we saw was dark sky...it was freaking crazy!!!! Hollie N from Fort Worth also saw some orange orbs hovering over the El Rancho Escondido Apartments on the 25th, but in the daytime not nighttime sky (which is a little odd if these are indeed Chinese lanterns): My husband and I were having coffee on our veranda. I was looking at the sky, it was bright blue and clear. The time was approx. 12:30pm and I saw 5 objects directly above us at what I estimated was at least 15 thousand feet. They were bright round orbs with dark thin wings. At first I thought birds, but they did not ever move the wings, just floated around together in a semi circular pattern, going probably 15 mph, and they were moving south, then south east. I took pictures with my little camera. The pictures only show the orbs, and not very clearly. If you saw these objects as well, report your sighting. Especially if you think these aren't Chinese lanterns at all! |
