SOLVED! HOAX!!!!! Maybe NOT Drones? - Story Updated - Amazing Footage Shows UFOs Over Round Rock9/19/2022
9/19/22 6:31 PM: So as of right now, I think we can put this sighting to bed. I was putting together a YouTube wrap up of everything I had found out, including my follow up with the journalist who wrote the California news story, and my increasingly confusing confusion that some, but maybe not all?, of this event had been hoaxed. I had even contacted the Fox 7 reporters to tell them about my suspicions!
Well, it turns out, all of it was! One of the eyewitnesses to the originally-reported mass sighting in Austin has now come forward and claimed to be an actress, vindicating skeptics like Mick West who immediately suspected the videos to be fake, despite all the eyewitness testimony pouring in. Check out the confession video and let me know what you think of this in the comments:
9/5/22 2:41 AM Update: This story is still developing. I am learning there was a similar, and similarly suspect sighting, in California a few nights before. It looks like one of the videos from California had been posted on this page --- I've since removed it, so we can focus on the Texas sighting and not contribute to any confusion. I am continuing to look at all angles of this event, from hoax (more and more evidence that this is the case) to mass sighting, and will be posting more soon!
9/3/22 2:41 PM Update: More and more videos are rolling in of the mysterious green lights hovering, and then zooming away, over - what we can now call the Round Rock, Texas/Central Texas area - and the more and more videos I see, the more and more I'm coming back around to the conclusion that these were... drones. But amazingly fast, high-tech ones at that. But who was controlling them? Let me know your theories on this and all the latest breaking UFO news below in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter. In the meantime, check out another witness video, shared by Michael Daniels, who was near Spicewood, Texas at the time (less than an hour from Round Rock): — Chris Walker (@WalkerATX) September 2, 2022
I thought this footage was very impressive, especially considering these are just privately owned drones, and not secret military ones!
This definitely poses a problem for ufology. As drones become more and more advanced, it will be harder and harder to tell the difference between "ours" and "their" tech... Not to mention, even real videos of UFOs could be easily "covered up" as drones. Even I have a difficult time believing this video to be drones, as they zoom off so incredibly fast. Theories on Twitter initially suggested the lights were just coming from laser pointers. Let me know what you think of this video, and other stories like it, below in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter. Did you also see these drones? Do you have any more to add to the story? Report it!

A security camera captured a pretty strange sight in Corpus Christi, according to a recent MUFON report (case 125125). In the video below, you can see a black, long, rod-shaped object with appendages (or wires) suddenly appear and then disappear. Although this could very well be a bug (compare the image below to the image of dragonfly further down on the page), I'm fascinated with its speed; note how you can see the bird flying in the background very normally, whereas this bug just comes out of nowhere (and then promptly disappears). Check out the report and let me know what you think: Compare the still above to a picture of a dragonfly. Is it possible the security camera just captured a bug? Another reason I thought we should take a look at this, is this also somewhat resembles a drone! And drones are getting tinier and tinier... we are really going to have trouble with security camera footage if drones start mixing together with the bugs.
As always, share your thoughts below, and your sightings.
A sighting of the SpaceX "Starlink" satellite train, or perhaps UFOs, has been reported to Fox 7 Austin News, an outlet that was only recently was flooded with reports of UFOs over Round Rock, Texas:
I have also received similar reports of late, but this is not a new thing in Texas. Check out the report below of a sighting from over the summer that was sent to me. July 24th, 2022 sighting, happened during confirmed SpaceX launch: Now, although it's not unreasonable to suggest that someone is seeing Starlink versus an alien spaceship, how can we be so sure? Consider this... UFOs that look an awful lot like Starlink showed up prior to Elon Musk even being born. Remember the Lubbock Lights of the 1950s? If you don't, check out witness photos below: I've said it before, and I'll say it again... as our own drones and satellites and aircraft get more and more advanced, it's going to get easier and easier for "Them" to blend in, and harder and harder for "Us" to snap a photo...
Let me know what you think of these recent Starlink(?) sightings here in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter. Did you also see these lights? Do you think we are being too quick to explain them away as satellites? I'd love to learn more.
A wild-looking photo appearing to show a fiery saucer-shaped object zipping through the night sky has been submitted to NUFORC (case S171560); the photo was sent along with secondhand testimony of a UFO being chased by nearby aircraft. What's interesting is a few days later in nearby Lago Vista, another witness made a similar UFO report to NUFORC. Both reports detail a round craft with "haze" around it. But did someone really see a "flying saucer" over Austin, Texas? Or is this just some hoax? The up-close photo could truly be of anything (for example, a lamp) as there's no frame of reference to show that the photo was taken of the sky. Check out the photo and report below and, as always, let me know what you think about this case: There was an aura or haze around the object, There were aircraft in the vicinity or aircraft chasing the object
Photos of a yellow sphere-shaped object have been uploaded to MUFON (case 124998) by the witness, who claims it to be a UFO. Now, at first glance, the photos appear to show a lens flare, however upon further examination, I'm not so sure... The photos and testimony remind me of other unexplained sightings in Texas from over the years, and in fact, it all reminds me of the rare, naturally-occurring, but poorly-understand phenomenon called "ball lightning." According to NationalGeographic.com, ball lightning can appear during thunderstorms. So, it's worth noting that this specific UFO was seen as a storm was rolling in: I was on my deck when a storm was rolling in. I have the photos of what it looked like. But could these photos just show lens flares? The witness may have even been viewing the UFO through a camera lens, or a window, and misidentifying the object (rather than being deceptive).
I am trying to find out whether or not a thunderstorm ended up rolling in that evening, but I haven't been able to so far. Texas is known for its short thunderstorms, however, and so it's possible I won't be able to find a record of one. Let me know what you think about this case in the comments below, or on Facebook or Twitter. Did you also see this UFO? Report it, so we can learn more. |
