Boomerang Craft Speeds Over Colorado

• When: October 29th, 2016 at 9 PM
• Where: Littleton, Colorado
• What: Fast-moving boomerang-shaped object with six white lights, followed by smaller glowing disc-shaped object

A Colorado family witnessed an amazing event in the night sky a couple nights ago, and fortunately submitted testimony as well as a drawing to MUFON (case 80119). Check out the witness photo and description here:

My wife and I were sitting on our back deck talking while sitting by a fire in our fire pit. I had just given my wife my phone to read an article about San Luis Valley sand dunes.

Our backyard has a clear view of the sky with little to no light pollution. We are sky watchers and look at the sky, stars etc. for a few hours nightly.

I was looking at the sky and noticed an object that just seem to appear out of nowhere. I jumped out of my seat and started yelling at my wife if she sees this. My wife stood up from her chair and gave me my cell phone and said "take a picture". I tried to take the picture but could not locate the object in the view finder. I went to the sliding screen door and told our son to get his camera and come outside. My wife and I both stepped off the deck and onto the lawn. My wife did not immediately see the object as her eyes were adjusting from the brightness of looking at my cell phone. My wife was able to see the object but only as it was moving away.

Object was large and shaped like a boomerang with six white lights per side. The lights were in a straight line expect the last two that were curved inward. The object was going fast and turned right and then was out of sight.

By this time our son came outside but the object was already gone. The three of us had moved to the front yard to see if the object could be located again. We couldn't find it so we returned to the back yard. We continued to look up to see if there was anything else and we spotted a second object. This one was disk shaped and appeared to be illuminated with a yellow/orange light. It was moving very fast and zig-zag through the sky along the same trajectory as the first object.

What do you think of this sighting? Is it related to similar reports of V or triangle-shaped crafts in the US? Have you seen anything like this?
