According to multiple mainstream news outlets, a large US Air Force drone (the size of a commercial plane!) crashed over Mount Whitney, California, causing a wildfire.
What could be going on with the US military right now? Strangely enough, the very same day, a US Navy ballistic missile intercept test failed.
Also, other strange fireball reports came out around the same time. I received a secondhand report and photo of a large object seemingly crashing (but eventually "leveling out") over Bainbridge Island, Washington (which so far I am not at liberty to share). But there was a public meteor report logged of a similarly-behaving fireball over Seattle from the same night.
Could these military activities and other reports of fireballs be reported?
What is even wilder is today there is an online rumor that a UFO hit a building in Lima, Peru today, causing a fire. While the fire is confirmed, the rumors about its cause are not.
A very strange news day, indeed. What do you make of all these events? Share your thoughts below in the comments or join the conversation on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
Did you see the crashing drone over California? Or any other mystery fireballs like that during this time frame? Report your sighting!
A couple of friends were driving along when they witnessed an odd sight in the clouds, appearing to them to be a "hologram" or "mega structure" of some kind. They parked their car and got out to snap a photo, which they sent to MUFON along with testimony (case 84539):
I have a picture. Looks to be a mega structure or possible government hologram testing
It is unclear how long this UFO was witnessed, but perhaps others saw it and can add more detail to this report. If you have ever seen anything like this, report your sighting!
Do you think this could be a hoax? Or a rare cloud formation? Or perhaps the witnesses were looking through a car window and so mistook a window reflection for a UFO? According to their testimony, though, the UFO was seen with the naked eye while standing outside the vehicle! Share your theories in the comments below if you have any!
A witness to a slow-moving, low-flying triangle craft over Oklahoma shared footage of the encounter with the Reddit UFO community as well as MUFON (case 84513). Shortly after the sighting, the witness' camera stopped working and the "UFO" took off:
Yesterday at 3:30 am we witnessed a flying object from about a mile away, it had 3 lights and seemed to hover just about the tree line.
Triangle UFOs have been very common in 2016 and 2017; this video joins a huge pile of evidence that there are highly advanced triangle-shaped crafts flying around our skies right now. What do you think of this triangle sighting and others like it (in the world, and in Texas)? Share your theories in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
A couple camping on Palomar Mountain in California snapped a photo of the onsite observatory and were surprised to discover later that they also snapped a photo of a UFO (MUFON case 84406):
Camping at Palomar Observatory campground saw object in a photo taken by me visiting the observatory.
Although the witnesses did not see the silver disc pictured here with their naked eye, the object doesn't appear to be a typical lens glare or reflection or even speck of dust. Only way to really find out is to investigate other reports. Do you live in the area? Did you also see this? Or have you ever seen a UFO like this? Report your sighting!

Amazing video showing a bright fireball or meteor-like object falling from the sky and then seemingly splitting into multiple bright fireballs that then hover and make formations before leaving the scene, has been uploaded to MUFON (case 84374):
As astonishing as this footage is, can it be explained? Theories include drones, an air show, military planes flying in formation, as well as nighttime skydivers. Compare this footage of a supposed UFO sighting to footage of nighttime skydivers from back in 2009:
As always, you be the judge! While there are some theories on the table, this video so far remains unexplained. Do you live in Myrtle Beach? Did you see these UFOs as well? Report your sighing!
