Giant Spaceship Astonishes Malaysian Village - Video Makes Headlines

• What: Giant saucer-shaped craft flying and turning slowly over remote village; Warning - may be a CGI hoax, no witness reports verified

A video from February this year showing a disc-shaped spacecraft large enough to cover almost the entire sky, and astonishing witnesses who live in the remote Malaysian village the craft is appearing over, has been newly posted to YouTube and is making headlines. The problem is the video feels like a giant hoax, and even a YouTube channel known for promoting hoax videos has debunked it.

Because CGI is so accessible and high quality these days, it's hard to say if we could ever know a true UFO... wouldn't we immediately assume it's too-good-to-be-true?

That said, I am in the camp that this is a "hoax" so far, because I am seeing no corroborating witness reports or separate videos of the event. However, if this video really was taken in a remote village, it isn't hard to believe that Americans and the Western World would miss out on it!
