"It Looked Amazing" - Weird UFO Cloud Over Wales

• When: December 2nd, 2016 in the morning
  
• Where:  Wales
• What: Identified as rare "fog dome"
  

A really rare, amazing weather event was captured on photo in Northern Wales amidst an especially cold, foggy morning. In the picture below, a "fog dome" can be seen hovering in the distance. According to the Daily Mail, witness Hannah Blandford  dubbed the weather phenomenon an "alien pod," and for good reason:

I couldn't believe how perfectly dome shaped it was, it looked amazing, so I had to take a photo. I'd never seen anything like it before, it was really quite special.

I watched it for about 10 minutes and then the dome started to flatten and it looked like very thick low lying cloud. It spread out across 12 fields and covered a huge area.

What's especially intriguing about  this sighting is that although I can find plenty of photos of thick foggy clouds like this on the Internet...

...I truly can't find a single other photo or account like this one anywhere! And there is no official terminology or precedent for "fog domes" either.

Pretty weird weather, huh? What do you think of this "fog dome" over Wales? Have you ever seen anything like this before?
