On a recent radio program, both the front man and drummer behind the popular rock band MUSE discussed UFO and alien abductions.
While discussing World UFO Day, singer Matt Bellamy recalled a sighting of "flashing lights" during a drive through the woods to visit his girlfriend, when he was 16 or 17. He didn't recall much of the journey, and laughingly suggested that he "may have been abducted." Muse's drummer Dom also chimed in with his frightening experiences of "sleep paralysis," wherein he has woken up to visions of goblins and even an "incubus" (a mythological demon that sits on your chest and engages in sexual activity).
Those who believe in the UFO alien abduction phenomenon also acknowledge the natural sleep condition of sleep paralysis, suggesting that the condition can give a true glimpse to the "other side," and also could even be induced by aliens or even people.
Recently, Radiohead singer Thom Yorke joked about aliens messing with his set, when he experienced technical difficulties performing at Coachella. Interestingly enough, Yorke previously wrote songs about aliens and publicly discussed his belief that aliens are living underground.
