Top 5 Movies to Watch Before UFO Disclosure

It seems an increasing number of people, including famed rocker Tom Delonge and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, are guessing that UFO and Alien Disclosure is right around the corner. So, it may be wise to start preparing for it NOW. Here is a fun way to ready yourself for a world, or should we say universe, where the existence of alien life is no longer a question, but a day-to-day reality... watch the following five amazing UFO and alien feature films, each drenched in juicy UFO conspiracy:

5. Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977)

Picture
  • Ratings: IMDB - 7.7/10, Rotten Tomatoes - 96%
  • Director: Steven Spielberg
  • Writer: Steven Spielberg
In this subtly stunning Spielberg film,  Richard Dreyfuss stars as Roy, an electrical worker who has the life-changing experience of witnessing an unidentified flying object. During the UFO sighting, his skin is burned, and after it, he has strange thoughts and visions that lead to dramatic consequences for both him and his family. The plot of the fiction film bares an eerie resemblance to nonfiction UFO cases, including famous, well-documented ones like the Cash-Lundrum incident, which detail exotic crafts giving off intense, damaging heat, and/or witnesses having weird dreams and experiences following an encounter.

4. War of the Worlds (1953)

Picture
  • Ratings: IMDB - 7.2/10, Rotten Tomatoes - 85%
  • Director: Byron Haskin
  • Writer: HG Wells (book) and Barré Lyndon (screenplay)
When HG Wells' classic 1898 novel "War of the Worlds" was narrated on national radio in 1938 by Orson Welles, some listeners panicked, believing the broadcast to be a real news story (quite infamously). Some in the UFO community theorize that the broadcast was actually a government "psyop" meant to find out if Americans were ready for the truth about UFOs. If this is true, it's safe to assume that the government concluded Americans were not ready. There are two major film adaptations of "War of the Worlds," and the 1953 one starring Gene Berry is the more critically acclaimed. However, the 2005 Hollywood Blockbuster starring Tom Cruise is also decent, and is directed by none other than Steven Spielberg.

3. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

Picture
  • Ratings: IMDB - 7.9/10, Rotten Tomatoes - 98%
  • Director: Steven Spielberg
  • Writer: Melissa Mathison
Of all Spielberg's films, this might be the most beloved. And that's saying a lot. The 80s kid-friendly hit continues to steal hearts and minds to this day. Henry Thomas stars as Elliott, a young boy living in a California suburb who discovers an extra-terrestrial, and has to keep it a secret while helping it get back to its home planet. What makes E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial an especially enjoyable movie to watch are all the fan theories surrounding it, like ET being a Star Wars Jedi (yes, really!) as well as the conspiracy theories... it is rumored that before Spielberg screened the film at the White House, he cryptically stated: “You know, there aren’t six people in this room who know how true this really is.”

2. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)

Picture
  • Ratings: IMDB - 7.7/10, Rotten Tomatoes - 88%
  • Director: Nicholas Meyer
  • Writer: Gene Roddenberry (TV series) and Harve Bennett (story)
Trekkies might recommend another movie in the saga,  but this was one of the more universally-loved stories. In Wrath of Khan, a 23rd century Captain Kirk (played by William Shatner, of course) battles an imperialist enemy originating from 20th Century Earth. Star Trek isn't just an amazing space fantasy, though. It is also the subject of many online conspiracy theories. Creator Gene Roddenberry was employed by the government as a plane crash investigator prior to making the television series, spurring many theories that Roddenberry witnessed real extra-terrestrial crash sites, and was chosen by the government to write Star Trek, with the intention of conditioning the American people for a future reality in space. All the more reason to start watching Star Trek now if you haven't already! You can start with a fan favorite like this one or you can just binge watch the original show on Hulu.

1. Fire in the Sky (1993)

Picture
  • Ratings: IMDB - 6.5/10, Rotten Tomatoes - 41%
  • Director: Robert Lieberman
  • Writer: Travis Walton (book) and Tracy Tormé (screenplay)
The Travis Walton alien abduction case is one of the most famous and well-documented of all time. In 1975, Walton was a logger living in Arizona when he witnessed a flying saucer, which took him up in blue beam of light. Fellow loggers saw and reported the event, and a well-publicized manhunt for Walton followed. Walton was located several days later, and he eventually recalled some terrifying details about the abduction. While this film based on Walton's experiences is not the most well-reviewed on this list, it is the only one that is admittedly based on a true story. If the world experiences UFO and Alien Disclosure, it will  be important for people to be clear-headed and consider the possibility of a sinister, and even deceitful extra-terrestrial species or individual. And this movie may provide one of the more accurate portrayals of just that...

A number of other great UFO and alien movies are listed here on UFOEvidence.org if you want more ideas. But this should give you enough entertainment and thought-provoking ideas for now. The universe these films paint is a complex one, full of good and bad extra-terrestrials, much like Earth is full of "good" and "bad" humans.... could art really be reflecting reality? What do you think?

SO many of the Star Trek franchise (especially Enterprise) episodes are pure disclosure, as is the Stargate franchise - virtually in its entirety from SG1 to Atlantis to Universe.

Roddenberry was not only a former cop and involved in crash retrievals, he was also privy to some of the top secret (and inter-species) meetings with Eisenhower, whichultimately fueled his imagination for many of the characters and plots that show up all over the various Treks.
