Very Large Craft Hovering Over NYC - Multiple Witnesses, Daytime Photo

• When: August 5th at 12 AM
• Where: New York City
• What: Large elongated blue-ish craft hovering, then making sharp turn and quickly traveling off

A very large craft hovering in the daytime sky was seen my multiple witnesses on a New York City boat tour. Although the object could be a blimp, it doesn't appear a blimp  was scheduled to be in NYC at this time, and the craft did make a sharp turn and fly quickly after this photo was taken (MUFON case 78687):

I was on a boat tour in NYC. A few people at the back of the boat by me noticed the object. It was just hovering over part of the city. When I looked at my phone to get a video of it. The object made a quick 180 degree turn and it was gone. Being on the water we had a good view of the sky line over the ocean. And we couldn't see it anywhere. It never made a sound.

What could these NYC tourists have been seeing? It this an unscheduled blimp? Or even a parade float? Can a blimp or float make a quick turn and speed off, though...?
