Very Weird Fireball Moves Slowly Over San Diego - Mass Sighting Caught On Camera

• What: Fireball slowly traveling across sky

UFO Sightings Hot Spot picked up a great sighting --- many reports of a strange, slow-moving fireball were sent to local news outlets in San Diego, including a video.  One witness even described the object as a craft with lights.

The nearby US Coast Guard had no explanation for the sighting, confirming that they had no activity going on at the time. Many have suggested the fireball is a meteor, a product  of the Perseid Meteor Shower, which gave a beautiful show a few nights prior, however the fireball is moving too slow to be that. Even Steve Flanders, public affairs coordinator at Palomar Observatory, does not think the Perseids are a viable explanation.
