Where: Springtown (outside Fort Worth)
What: White object hovering

A video that shows a white object sitting pretty in the sky - literally, just hovering there! - was submitted to MUFON, along with witness testimony. There was great video but it did not upload well to YouTube, so embed it here:

Not much to it video says it all, it just stayed in the exact same spot the whole 30 minutes I was there and I just thought it was unusual as it did not move at all and I know air balloons move when the wind is blowing. But I kept an eye on it the whole time I was there working. And I have no idea what it was or I would not bother sending the video, I was downloading pictures from my phone to my computer when I even snapped that I had the video. This is not my first UFO sighting here in Texas, here at Runaway Bay, Texas I have witnessed several UFO sightings. Though this one was in Springtown there is a lot of strange things in our skies. I was attracted to it because of its shape and the fact it did not seem to move at all. The object never landed or as far as I know even disrupted anyone's day, but I would like to know if anything was ever said about it.

What could this be? A balloon or plane doesn't hover like this. Could it be a drone? Share your thoughts in the comments or on the Facebook page.

No- I am not on drugs or alcohol- Very strange

Object appeared moving East to West at something close to normal plane speed in Eastern sky. The reason I noticed it was that it had only two red lights- not the normal red, white and green seen on airplanes. Then it stopped- just plain stopped- for maybe 10 to 15 seconds- then began a rapid descent straight down- It wasn't too far from me- perhaps anywhere from 2 to 10 miles East of my location- the Spring Branch area of Houston- which is approximately 12 miles west of downtown. I was glad it wasn't closer because it may have been out to take someone or something. It disappeared behind the tree horizon and did not reappear. I'm sorry but did not have camera with me. It did not come down like a helicopter- but it dropped straight down- weird.

I have seen the same thing a couple of years ago. At a kids baseball game. The object did not move for over 15 minutes. It was not a balloon.

Yes and I saw one similar to yours above maybe 3 years ago- Bright object- not a star or planet- perhaps the size of a satellite- but not moving for at least ten minutes- I put something on line at the time- and the only Reply I got stated that it was probably a plane- How pathetic was that- had sort of forgotten about it until this latest siting.
