Another Lens Flare Debate... Dallas Area

1/11/2016

When: On or about December 31st, 2015
Where: Lewisville area (northwest Dallas) - Hickory Creek Bridge
What: Lens flare or object by sun (when zoomed in on looks odd)

We've got another photo of the mysterious green-ish dotted orb hovering by the sun. Planet X it isn't, but lens fare it may not be either:

seen this over the Hickory Creek Bridge in Texas ... I have 11 pics of it slowly going up..... thoughts?????
Compare to a similar photo from San Antonio, which is one of a few seen during a recent week in November:

Is this just something that happens when you zoom up on a lens flare? I haven't seen this anomaly before but may just have to go out and recreate for an upcoming post to see what's going on.

In the meantime, if you have similar photos depicting lens flares... or UFOs!... (however you see it), report them!

I just went to the Oregon Airshow in Portland on July 7th, and was taking photos of the fighter jets.

My friend commented that night about the "sliver of a moon" that night, and I told him that he was mistaken; it was a full moon, because of what I had seen in my photos. He insisted that it was a new moon, which caused me to zoom in on what I thought was a full moon in my photos.

It turned out to be this strange orb with bright "lights" on it in my photos!! In some of the photos, it has moved from the left side of the sun to the right, and one photo even has LINES on the orb, as well as the lights!!

I am kind of weirded out by this. I am just a normal, sane, level-headed person. These photos are really, really strange! : / I have spent hours researching "sun glare on photos" and "sun spots", UFO's, etc. I have found quite a few photos just like mine!!! One of mine seems to be more clear, however, with two distinct lines on the orb, as well as the lights around, and a larger circle in the center.

I am truly mystified.
