"Another set would pop up, dance in the background, flicker and then disappear..."

A really enchanting and perplexing display (or dance, perhaps?) of lights was seen over West Texas, and fortunately, the witness shared the encounter with TexasUFOSightings.com:

That road is mostly flat coming into and out of Alpine. It was about 445 AM and my girlfriend noticed that there were lights behind us. One would pop up, disappear, then another appear of a different color, dim, flutter and then disappear. Another set would pop up, dance in the background, flicker and then disappear, I watched them too. she was pretty spooked. this happened for about ten minutes. During that time we almost hit a rabbit and then within a few minutes almost hit a deer. Between all of that the lights eventually disappeared. They were not car lights. It felt like something was trying to get us to pull over. we didn't even pull over and kept going.
