Another Vanishing Star Reported in Texas

• When: October 13th, 2017 at 7 PM
• Where: Canyon (North Texas)
• What: Bright white star-like object vanishes

Witness Update: "... we did also pulled out the star gazer app and the bright light in the sky did not come up anywhere on the app as a star ... We also had very intense storms right after with a lot of close and extremely bright lightning. Overall it was very fascinating!"

A couple in Canyon, Texas witnessed an extremely bright white glowing orb hover in the sky and them disappear into some storm clouds. Photo and testimony were submitted to TexasUFOs by "NWtexasUFOhunter":

 Bright white. Husband saw a red hue surround it for a moment towards end of sighing. 

Very large and bright white light/object sitting the Northwestern sky from 7:15pm until about 8pm when extremely dark storm clouds rolled in and the object vanished. My husband had an urge to look out a certain window in our bedroom and noticed it. Immediately we ran for the DSLR camera and booked it into the rain to photograph this once in a lifetime shot. Pictures were taken with an iPhone also. Picture posted with sighting is off my iPhone. The dslr pics will be used in a sky sighting publication next year and can not authorize access to release those pictures yet. It was incredible and in a way comforting knowing that whatever is out there, might actually want to make contact one day. We love to see objects in the sky and spend a lot of time stargazing. Husband wished for a sighting of a light in the sky as most of my sightings in the past were without him. Now he has finally joined my club of weird.

This sighting joins  many just like it  that have been reported in Texas and elsewhere in the US over the past few days. People have been consistently seeing bright star-like objects disappear or take off in front of their eyes.
