A family spotted a craft flying slowly and silently making its way through the night sky. And they filmed it. In addition to watching the clearly-lite craft travel along a straight path, you can also hear the family - including kids - discussing the sight. Some members think it's an airplane, while others are sure it's a UFO. The craft seems very large and appears to be flying very slowly and low in the sky. It also doesn't appear to make any sound. To further confuse the issue, the air craft's lights do not look like those of a plane (red and green... these appear to only be orange and red, though you never can tell with a video). The accompanying MUFON report does not have any more detail. Read quotes from the video and watch the video below: "You taking video? Do you have ideas on what this is - does this look like a plane to you? Comment! If you saw this UFO, too, please report your sighting.

A YouTube video featuring a solid white orb hovering in mid air, and also slowly moving through the sky, and occasionally dimming out, has hit the web. The witness doesn't normally post things like this, so I guess it was a genuine sighting. You can watch the full video right here - and it's quite compelling, and quite similar to a video of a San Antonio UFO from a few days later and a recent video out of Houston. Watch as this orb sits still in the sky, and then travels along a path, dimming out occasionally and even seeming to distort the camera: Here's a similar video from San Antonio filmed nights later: Have you seen something like this in Dallas, San Antonio, or elsewhere in Texas? Please report your sighting!
When: October 20th, 2013 Where: San Antonio What: Stationary star-like object, blinking red and occasionally disappearing/dimming out A San Antonio resident has seen a star-like object, or orb, hovering in the night sky in the same spot over a period of several nights. It blinks red. But it's not always there. Apparently, the light could be seen throughout the city. Is this a satellite? What star changes colors like this and sometimes just doesn't show up? People have been seeing a "new" star in the sky, with odd behavior, in droves lately. Read quotes from the San Antonio video, and watch it below: "K, here... here it is again in the sky!
While this object could be a plane or a helicopter, the witnesses comment about how low flying and silent it is and notice it moving and also sitting still. Read quotes from the video, and watch the video below: "But it's moving..
Doesn't look like the latest wave of V/triangle-shaped crafts are leaving Texas any time soon. Two TUS readers kindly submitted accounts of UFOs either shaped like a V or flying in a V formation. First off, Nancy Jo McGee, who lives in the Wells Branch area of Austin, reported seeing five amber, square-shaped lights flying in a V formation next to a suspicious looking plane or drone. There was no sound. Although she wasn't able to get a photo of the event, she did draw a diagram:
Then David Culver of Fredericksburg spotted an "uneven" V-shaped object silently flying over his head: My girlfriend and I came to Fredericksburg for a weekend away from Austin. We decided to sit outside and watch the stars since there's no light pollution here compared to Austin. The object we saw looked like an uneven shaped V flying object, it looked like 3-5 lights down one side and 2 lights down the other. It was hard to tell the distance above maybe 5-10,000 feet, not sure. It was quiet and moved very quickly from North to South across the sky. We saw the same object again about an hour later, this time moving from South to North. We have never seen anything like this before. I'm very interested about learning more about what this thing is. If you saw either of these objects, please report your sighting! Here's a map of recent sightings of triangle and V shaped crafts: View Triangle Sightings Aug/Sep/Oct in a larger map |
