A San Antonio resident has seen a star-like object, or orb, hovering in the night sky in the same spot over a period of several nights. It blinks red. But it's not always there. Apparently, the light could be seen throughout the city. Is this a satellite? What star changes colors like this and sometimes just doesn't show up?

People have been seeing a "new" star in the sky, with odd behavior, in droves lately.
