A mother and son driving along in Temple were startled by a bright light in the sky that preceded to follow them - as it got closer, they noticed it was shaped like a boomerang and made no noise. Then it passed right over their heads. Fortunately, the son snapped a photo and shared that, as well as a full description of what he witness, with TUS: I was driving along a road in west Templewhen I noticed a Bright object in the sky, I thought it was a Light for the nearby soccer fields, but it mover closer to me. The object turned and started for me. It was very bright and had no red or green lights to give it away as a plane. It made no nose at all. I asked my mom to pull over in a nearby parking lot. Before we could the object flew over us. It was the shape of a boomerang, about 40-60 feet big. Even as it got closer it was still quiet, the radio was not playing at the time. We pulled over and I tried to take pictures off my phone. They came out blurry but still show something in the sky with no navigation lights. UFO sightings have been eerily frequent in Texas over the past several months, and sightings of triangle shaped objects have been especially common. So, these witnesses may not have been alone! Did you see this Temple UFO or something similar in Texas? Please report your sighting!

We've got some pretty great nighttime footage of a set of red lights hovering in mid air, randomly blinking on and off. These look like Chinese lanterns to me, and they did pop up on a Saturday night (weddings, parties...). Of course absolutely anything is possible, so you be the judge! Check out the video and read a few quotes from it below: What is that? Did you see these peculiar Fort Worth lights? Report your sighting!
Deja vu! This apparently happened back in September, also! A little ways west of Austin, someone spotted a falling star... falling all the way to the ground. It's not uncommon to see meteors zip through the sky (and lots of people saw this one), but to see one actually make impact with the earth? That's a once in a billion lifetimes kinda sight! Since the witness saw the meteor or object burst into flames upon hitting the ground, we're quite surprised we haven't seen any news coverage, photos, or videos of this event. Here's the full witness testimony submitted to MUFON: I was traveling on 12/2/13 at 2200 hrs, keep in mind I am in the middle of nowhere with no city lights, it was pitch black besides the night sky. I witnessed what appeared to be a shooting star. I immediately got the attention of my wife so she could see the shooting star also. Rather than the shooting star burning off like I have seen in the past this one continued to burn entering the atmosphere, with a bright blueish-white train the shooting star then turned a greenish color and hit the earth's surface. I clearly saw the object make impact with the ground because I was at an elevated viewpoint. Once the object made impact my wife and I saw it burst into a green-yellow-red glowing light (like a bomb would in a movie) behind a segment of trees. We were so baffled that we drove off the main road onto some country roads towards where we saw the object hit. After about 10 mins I realized there would be no way for me to accurately find the object without an aeriel view being that the night sky could distort the actual distance the object landed off the road. We gave up our search and now I have tried to contact anyone who will help me try and locate this object for historical and scientific purposes. I contacted the Chief Investigator, Fletcher Gray, he seemed to be very interested. Please contact me, I feel this is extremely important for the scientific community. More than 30 reports of the December 2nd fireball were sent into AMSMeteors.org, here's just one of them, from Tracy in LaGrange: It appeared to fall straight down. It was a bright green I only saw it a few seconds before it was obscured by trees as I was driving in to work. I was wondering if it actually struck Earth. Although this was likely a meteor, it could have been space junk or some other object entirely. If you have information about what Texans saw on December 2nd, or you saw it yourself - please send TUS a report!
Fireballs from outer space usually dissolve in our atmosphere, however the past two years have seen record-breaking meteor impacts on the planet Earth, most famously in Russia on Valentines Day last year. Most of these impacts have received little to no mainstream media coverage. Of course you can find great coverage of these right here.
A family witnessed a star-like object in the night sky, darting from left to right and moving in circles. Then the UFO flashed and disappeared - followed by a loud, thunderous noise. A blurry cell phone picture was captured, and you can also read the full description, submitted to MUFON: December 08, 2013 Pearland, Texas at 9:27 pm My son was taking out the recycling when he came running inside yelling to me and telling me that there was a weird object moving in the sky in circles from left to right. I went outside and noticed the strange movements and the change of colors. I called my husband and we could not believe this was happening to us. It sure was something that we had not seen before. It kept moving for about a minute. The object was moving too fast and irregularly to be an airplane or a helicopter, and also the color pattern was not something we had ever seen. My husband went inside to grab his camera, and as he was coming out, it moved quickly, flashed, then disappeared. After 2 seconds, there was a loud thunder-like noise, yet there was no rain or thunder before of after this happened. No good pictures were able to be taken, just one cellphone picture, which just looks like a small bright dot in the dark. I'll still attach the picture anyways. There were no visible stars on this night. This was really strange. What could this have been? I have heard of weather balloons, but I don't think this was one. Has anybody seen something like this before? Did you see this Pearland UFO? Report your sighting!
UFOs wanted to spend Thanksgiving in Texas. We can't blame them, we cook a mean turkey. All over Texas, people watched strange orange balls of light glide over their heads. Another recent phenomena has been triangle crafts and orbs that create triangles, most famously in Austin, and many of these sightings have had a lot in common with that "fad," too. Each testimony had unique qualities, but there was definitely was something going on in the Texas sky last week, and many were lucky enough to see it. Well, the reports keep rolling in. And the latest is quite a doozy. A MUFON report filed in League City includes spectacular footage of a triangle craft with three blinking orange lights, moving about in the sky. Oddly enough, two other orange orbs appear alongside it and drift around. Watch a video that was captured, and read quotes from the witnesses: What is this, brother? I don't know about alien space ships, but those are definitely not Chinese lanterns. Don't even try to go there, skeptics. That's a triangle! Here's a similar sighting in Robstown, kindly submitted to TUS by reader Mario Arredondo: my wife was outside smoking about 8:00 pm.after about a minute of her going out to smoke she runs inside saying theirs some strange orange lights outside.the apts we live in face south so when i ran out side their was 4 orange lights in the sky tawords corpus Christi area .after those disappeared 5 more came up and aventually disappeared.they were orange lights i had never seen anything like them before.i thought we were the only ones to have seen them.i even posted it up on facebook and no one had seen anything.so when i came on here and saw the pictures i showed my wife and those were the exact lights we saw. And here's another generous submission from a resident in Lometa, TX: My 13 year old daughter and I were walking from our deer stand at approx 6 pm when we saw 3 hovering bright white lights in the southern sky. I did not appear to be very far away. The 3 lights were all close together and side by side until it appeared to turn to the east. At that point the 3 lights were in a triangle shape. There was absolutely no sound coming from this object and it was a VERY clear and quiet night. This is the 3rd time I have seen these lights and my first time to report it. I am a director of a criminal justice agency so I am a credible witness to this sighting. I'm not guessing what it was but I can say it was not an airplane or helicopter. No sound! And finally, here's another MUFON report out of League City: I was in my nephews back yard on thanksgiving night. I was starting to walk under the gazebo when I noticed something flying overhead and thought to myself that it did not look like plane lights so I went to the other side of the gazebo to take another look. What I saw was a pulsating white light with green blue and red streams of light pulsating from the object. I called my nephew over to look and he thought the same way as I did we could not figure out what it was. Then it seemed like seconds later two or thee more appear out of the southeast moving to the northwest. Then at least 10 more appeared all looked exactly the same. We counted 15 in all and watched them for what seemed like a while but probably was less than it seemed. My nephew video taped the whole thing on his phone. Did you see the Thanksgiving lights?
