"Bigger than a b52 airplane" - Denton Area

Mark S saw a bright metallic cigar-shaped object traveling and graciously submitted their encounter to Texas UFO Sightings:

My Nephew and myself were traveling South on 2164 at approximately 9:30 A.M this morning when we observed a very bright metallic cylindrical shaped object. As approaching Clear Creek Bridge, just North of Milam Rd., we observed a very bright metallic cylindrical shaped object, hovering just above the trees on South side of Clear Creek Bridge. First thing we both noticed, after later talking about it, was how bright and how vivid the object was and around the object it seemed to be projecting or refracting heat. Like a mirage. As we were crossing the Bridge, we lost sight of object behind trees as it was not very high. When we got passed trees there was no sight of the object. From our view point, we could see for miles in all directions. As I pointed out, this object was bigger than a B52 airplane with NO Wings and it was just gone! It was out of our site no more than 5 to 10 seconds and it had vanished! This is impossible! Nothing is that fast! We pulled into a house driveway that was nearly right under object where it was just seconds before. There were some AC repair guys there working. We asked if they had seen a plane or something go down just now. They replied they weren’t looking up and saw or heard nothing. “Very Weird!”
NOTE: If this was a Blimp, it would have went from hovering in one place to over Mach 2 to get out of our sight of view in the period of time it was out of our site. Also diameter was very small in comparison to length. Like no Blimp I ever saw before. Like I said, it was at least 300’ in length and small in diameter in comparison. Just wondering if anyone else saw this object this morning. Thanks for listening….
