Blue Light Speeds Across Fort Worth Sky

• What: Blue light travels in straight line and then disappears

A few weeks ago, a Fort Worth-ian :) spotted a strange blue light while on the road. It was super fast to begin with, but sped up even more before disappearing into thin air.... or so it seems, according to the following report, kindly submitted by a TUS reader:

We were traveling back from Kansas last night. On the outskirts of Fort Worth, Texas, 10-15 min away from downtown (around 11:30pm), I spotted a blue light traveling about 65 miles per hour (we were going about 70). It was to the left of the highway hovering just above the buildings, trees, and telephone poles. It was moving in a strait pattern along with the traffic flow. After about 10 seconds it sped up for a split second then disappeared. I looked back to make sure it was not a street light or other possible light source. No blue light to be seen.

Since this sighting occurred out in the open like this, I wonder if anyone else saw it... let me know!!!
