Boaters on Lake Travis Capture Extremely Fast Rod-shaped UFO on Video

A really interesting video showing an extremely fast unidentified object fly past a group of friends out on a boat on Lake Travis has been sent to MUFON, along with testimony (case 94662):

A boating trip at night on Lake Travis heading back to dock. At 40 seconds into video an object appears at left and streaks across the sky apparently through cloud cover. We didn’t notice it at the time, but can see on video.

Because the boaters didn't notice the UFO with their naked eye, could it really just be a fast-moving bug, or something much stranger?
