Bright Red Lights Hover Over Houston Area

• When: December 31st, 2016 at 9:40 PM
• Where: Tomball (Houston area)
• What: Two red lights moving through sky and hovering

While gazing up at the New Year's Eve fireworks, a Tomball resident noticed two bright red lights performing odd maneuvers, hovering and also appearing to move toward the witness at one point. Read the testimony and check out the photo sent to MUFON (case 81289):

Observed 2 red objects in sky with erratic movements

On Saturday night at around 9:30pm I went into my backyard to watch neighbors shoot off fireworks.I know most will say there is your answer. Let me continue. While looking up at sky and directly above my house I noticed a red ball of light. At first I thought that's an odd firework. As I thought this the object slowly descended towards my house. Enough to where it had me go inside fast since I thought it was going to land in my yard. I looked out my back door to see this red object now back up in sky moving away from my house and off to distance where I'm guessing it stopped and hovered for a few minutes then just disappeared. Again I figured that was odd. Maybe a plane or something. Still odd enough where I went and told my wife what I saw. Well about 15 minutes later it appeared again and now there were 2 red objects and this time I was able to take a picture. I honestly don't know for sure what these red objects were but it has me very curious. Enough so to share and welcome any feedback and suggestions

Could these lights have been high-powered drones, military crafts, or even ET ships? They definitely don't appear to be Chinese lanterns, planes, flares, or other more easy-to-explain phenomenons.
