A really compelling case from years ago is just now surfacing online! A witness has taken to Reddit to describe an encounter they had of "2 bright orbs of light" darting around a plane in El Paso: Sharing my experience in El Paso TX (~10 years ago), UFO engages airplane. Hoping someone else saw it too. We don't have photos or videos of this incident... yet! But maybe there is another witness out there who snapped a photo or has a testimony to share. If you are that witness, please let me know!
If you simply have theories on this UFO sighting, share them here in the comments, or on Facebook or Twitter!

I have covered many "Tic Tac" UFO sightings in Texas, but this is one of the first times I've reported on a "black" "Tic Tac-shaped" object. Check out the testimony submitted to MUFON (case 119924): Black tic tac shaped object seen from SW El Paso above Rio Grande Did you see this UFO, too? Report your sighting so we can solve this mystery!

A very short, but intriguing testimony of a single UFO splitting into two separate UFOs has been submitted to NUFORC (case 164466). Although no photos or videos where taken of this particular event, this is a distinct type of sighting that I have seen over the years. What is going on here? Check out this witness testimony, and let me know what you think: 1 ball turned into 2 balls. To help illustrate my point that this type of sighting is something I've reported on before, check out these headlines:
A bright white ball of light was filmed slowly ascending above a building in El Paso. Toward the end of the 1:17 video, the UFO speeds up and a red light blinks on it. So, could this just be a misidentified drone? Watch the video and let me know what you think. I've reached out to the witness for more information, so I will keep this story updated as I learn more:
An El Paso resident, who would like to be known as "S," was working in their backyard when they heard and then spotted a blimp overhead. So, they took some photos of the blimp, but weren't able to identify any markings on it. Later when viewing photos of the blimp, they noticed something strange flying next to it... a large, dark, and mysterious rod-shaped object: I was working in my backyard when I heard a strange aerial engine noise. I then realized that it sounded like a blimp and when I saw it I noticed that it had no markings on it. I quickly snapped three photos of it on my cellphone but what struck me was that it was flying by at very fast rate of speed. I wasn't sure if it was due to strong wind currents above as it was calm where I was. Later that evening, I took out my cellphone to show my family the photos when I noticed an object in the last frame underneath the blimp. I was able to find another mention of a blimp seen over El Paso from May 2019, but that's as far as my trail has taken me so far. I'll be reaching out to Goodyear, and following up with the witness for more detail, but in the meantime, let me know what you think!
Could this be an object or banner hanging from the blimp, as part of an advertising campaign or even a military exercise? Or perhaps this is just a piece of dust on the lens, considering the witness didn't see it with their naked eye. If it is a UFO, one has to wonder why it's flying right below an unmarked blimp! |
