Cloaked boomerang high up and moving fast

I was going from my front door to my driveway to get something out of my car and i casually glanced up at the sky as I often do since I'm a stargazer. It was a very clear and still night, no clouds, no wind. To my immediate amazement overhead an object was traveling overhead going on a fast and direct course northwards. It was going faster than any of the commercial jetliners you see passing close by overhead (I live near an airport). It was going faster than any cloud blown by the wind and in a definite straight path and at a constant velocity. It also appeared shrouded or cloaked in a way. The object was not solid. It was more like a very faint golden haze than was in a bent back boomerang shape, but with indistinct edges. It persisted in a north by northwesterly direction until it was just simply no longer visible, and because it was moving so fast it was out of sight before I could call my wife to come look. The nights following we've had some quite unusual activity with spotting what looks like stars moving in the sky and just blinking out and we have captured some odd lights on our security cam. I know my wife and I are more receptive to these things than the average person apparently. Would be interested if anyone else has noticed anything odd in the area lately.

Watching classified jet to west of porter when a disk shot out from behind trees it seemed to release a probe that dipped from 200 feet to maybe 30 as it raced to the east

I was photographing classified planes when a disk raced from behind the trees hovered and dropped a probe that dropped from 200 feet to 30 feet faster than any jet from west to east I have no idea where it went but have a short clip to include
