Chinese Lanterns, Military, Alien? in Mason

• What: Several glowing objects hovering in sky, then disappear quickly

Texas UFO Sightings has gotten an influx of reports that seem awfully similar to Chinese lanterns, which is not uncommon during the summer months. However, this particular sighting happened on a Thursday night (which is not a common day of week to see Chinese lanterns) and if you really dig into the description, this seems like something else entirely:

Not sure if it was ufo or military. 10 objects hung in the sky and then an entire line of them that stretched for miles showed up. I just wanted to know if they were military activities or ufo. Not many military aircraft look like missiles hanging in the sky. they were there for quite some time. A friend pulled up to see what was going on and they saw them, too. Blew it off as air planes. One glance away to scold him and when I looked back they were all gone. ALL of them.
