Two Saturdays in a row, folks have reported and uploaded videos of a collection of sparkling lights in the sky, even during the daytime on one occassion. Could this be a case of Chinese lanterns? Looks like it! Not sure if the events that inspired these lanterns were related, however, as this occurred in at least 3 Texas cities. Is there special cause for celebration in Texas right now? Maybe! And why launch Chinese lanterns during the day? As always, keep in open mind - these could very well be UFOs. Check out the photos and witness testimony and judge for yourself! October 18th in Houston: We seen these flying ufo(s) from the back yard of my friends house. We Cant explain what it is, the lights are right above the red and green street light. They are flying really slow you can tell by looking at the lights and looking where they are in line with the street light. No noise whatsoever, I cant tell if its one huge aircraft or several different ones. The lights start to fade and disappear one by one, until they are all gone. My friend said he seen it earlier that day, and I dismissed him as being crazy!! thats why he is saying it in the video. "I told you i wasnt crazy"!! Another video from October 18th in Houston, but this time only one orb is visible and almost appears to pulsate. A comment on the YouTube video by another eyewitness even suggests Chinese lanterns: I saw like three off of I-10 at around 10- 10:30pm , they were pretty small. I was driving so i could not get a good look. I even u-turned went back to see and they were gone. I know they were not helicopters or planes, just too small. Could have been quadracopters or those damn floating Chinese candle things. Just some examples of objects besides Aliens. - comment by Andrew Martinez on YouTube video And last, but hardly least, a sighting out of Galveston on the 25th: Man they like doubled in the amount & then slowly disappeared 1-2 at a time....I was asking Giselle, are you seeing that too or ami I tripping?!?! She's the only one who saw it w me...and they just disappeared until all we saw was dark sky...it was freaking crazy!!!! Hollie N from Fort Worth also saw some orange orbs hovering over the El Rancho Escondido Apartments on the 25th, but in the daytime not nighttime sky (which is a little odd if these are indeed Chinese lanterns): My husband and I were having coffee on our veranda. I was looking at the sky, it was bright blue and clear. The time was approx. 12:30pm and I saw 5 objects directly above us at what I estimated was at least 15 thousand feet. They were bright round orbs with dark thin wings. At first I thought birds, but they did not ever move the wings, just floated around together in a semi circular pattern, going probably 15 mph, and they were moving south, then south east. I took pictures with my little camera. The pictures only show the orbs, and not very clearly. If you saw these objects as well, report your sighting. Especially if you think these aren't Chinese lanterns at all!
