Explosion and UFO in Downtown Austin

• What: Gray object hovering over explosion

6/15 Update: Could the "explosion" simply be a water tower with a cloud obscuring its top?

Austin band Speak (shout out!) snapped a great photo of an explosion in Downtown Austin. The first question that comes to mind... is what the hell exploded in Downtown Austin? Then you might notice there's a UFO lurking right above the cloud of smoke, a gray saucer-shaped object.

I don't have an answer to either question. I can't find any local news item about a big explosion or fire in the area. And no word on the streets about the UFO, either. I'm almost wondering if this is a fake photo?

It's just an instagram moment in time and no one appears to have seen this UFO with their own two eyes, so it could be a smudge on the camera, some light distortion, or even something as harmless as a bird or helicopter. It's worth nothing, however, that UFOs frequently pop up around natural and man-made disasters.
