FOrt Hood Abuzz, ETs About, & More: Texas UFO Sightings Week of 8/1 to 8/7

It's time to round up the sightings from this past week. While the days of August 1st through the 7th were not heavy on the photos or videos, they were definitely heavy in sheer number of reports, especially to MUFON.

Two different Texans reported seeing an ET-like entity!, and many folks reported seeing flashing, chaotic lights in the sky.

Aug 1st Red Light Descending:
Amarillo - Man films bright red light descending.

Aug 1st Star-like Object That Moves:
Unknown town - A Texas ham radio operator saw a very suspicious looking "satellite" that changed directions two times and was flying silently. He sent a detailed account to MUFON.

Aug 1st "Swimming" Stars:
Grand Prairie - Witness has been seeing stars "swim in the sky" for a month now and has even shared the sighting with friends. Could this just be Chinese lanterns or part of a recent and mysterious trend of flashing, drifting lights that have been seen all over Texas? Read MUFON report

Aug 3rd "Organic" Looking Orb:
Laredo - A very odd, spiraling, almost organic looking orb was filmed in Laredo - many sightings like these have occurred in Texas and around the world over the past few  years.

Aug 3rd ET Entity?:
Arlington - Driver of a car swerves so as not to hit a strange human, animal like being -- ran off before they could see it up close.

Aug 4th Low Flying, Large Object:
Pampa - Account of giant, quiet, low flying object with pulsating lights submitted to MUFON.

Aug 6th Meteor and then ET Visitation?:
Longview - Witness sees falling star and then sees being get out of object carrying another object.

Aug 6th Flashing Odd Lights:
Abilene - Someone witnessed all kinds of strange UFOs in the night sky, and fortunately submitted an account to MUFON:

at 11:05 last night I was out in my front yard saw a dim star like object north east of Abilene Tx. wasn't sure if it was moving , it looked like it ejected a smaller light that circled it a few times. at that moment I saw a flash . it was a little more north of the first object. so I stared where I thought I saw a flash. a second later I saw another flash then another . it was random flashes not a pattern. then out of the south or south east heading north came a dull red or pinkish almost asteroid looking object . it went straight to the object that had flashed and was now dim and hovering . as soon as it reached it at higher speeds than conventional aircraft that we think we know of fly. It suddenly reversed and went straight back the way it came . I turned and watched it till my house and trees blocked my view. instantly something said look up. not a voice, just my inner voice . so I looked straight up and the saw a flash then another. then nothing and out of the east going west came a dim glowing green object and it too went straight to where this flash was and before it reached it , I mean up to it . It reversed course and went back east .

Aug 6th Flashing Odd Lights:
Fort Hood Military Reservation - Witness has been seeing lots of strange activity for the past month. The latest in a string of sightings was submitted to MUFON:

First, I must apologize. I wish me and my subordinate had a specialized camera to have a close-up of this object. At the moment, we are on guard duty and noticed the object approximately 00:00. And for a duration of 75 minutes, we witnessed this object appear within an approximate 16-20 miles from our location: 31 degrees 8 minutes 38.328 seconds N 97 degrees 47 minutes 5.82 seconds W. Throughout the 75 minutes, we have guessed that the object is spinning, zig zagging across the sky, changing its color and traveling in a WNW direction slowly away from the Fort Hood Military Reservation. By the naked eye, we conclude with the fact that this object has gone far as Lampasas County (and still going). At one point during the 75 minutes, we thought that the object was heading toward our direction but did not. The lights were impressive as it was very bright. Too bright to be an aircraft. The angle of our observation was at 35-45 degrees and at the end, it was a lot lower given the distance. This observation is a continuing trend of sightings that has been going on this whole summer. it.
