Remember the hovering lights in Mason from a few nights ago? Well a little bit before that, someone else reported a similar sight in Austin. They were able to get the last three minutes of the encounter on video. In the footage, you can see two red lights hovering and then another hovering light visited by a helicopter or plane (or perhaps another UFO) - but you can also hear the witness describe the several lights they saw beforehand: Stepped outside during a phone call and immediately spotted a strange light moving in an unusual direction for area aircraft. Steady orange glow, moving horizontal in the northern sky right to left. Within about 20 seconds a group of three more, and another group of five came into view all traveling the same speed, altitude and path. They all made a gentle turn toward the north and each dimmed as it made the turn, as if the lights were coming from their fronts. More kept appearing to the east and traveled the same path. This went on for several minutes, and I filmed the last three. The most I could see at once were 8- all spread out across the sky, and traveling the same path. They varied from about 10 degrees above the horizon to 20 degrees. Some a appeared a bit closer than other. I would have thought them to be helicopters, but there were no navigation lights and I could not hear any noise whatsoever. They appeared identical. Have you seen a collection of lights hovering? Do you think it's something else besides Chinese lanterns? Report your sighting.
And, as always, share your thoughts in the comments or on the Facebook page.
