A veteran star gazer saw what at first looked like a plane - a blinking light gliding across the sky. However, when it vanished in thin air - or at least turned off its light - the Katy, Texas resident knew there was something far more mysterious to it. They reported the UFO sighting to Latest-UFO-Sightings.net in hopes that someone else may have seen it, too. If you saw something in Katy earlier this month, please let me know! Here's the full report: Every night around 4am I walk out the side door of my brother's garage and look to the night sky and enjoy a few mins of moonlight. This morning however the moon's position was out of view and my attention was drawn to a blinking light moving slightly across the sky at a high altitude. The sky was very clear and there was not a cloud in sight. At first the light appeared to be part of a constellation, but after about a min of watching, it seemed to move across the sky. Although at a great distance, there was clearly mass to the object and encouraged the idea of an aircraft. The blinking light made me think airliner. after moving at a steady rate across the sky for about 2 mins the object completely disappeared. I stayed outside for 15 mins looking for a trace and it was nowhere. The object was well within my field of view when it suddenly lost luminescence and the red light stopped blinking. I send this in only in hopes that someone else may have seen a similar object at this time and place.; I send this as more of a record of statement.

I have been seeing these so called 'moving stars' for years in Katy. As crazy as it sounds, they seem to react to you. Often they will hide behind a cloud or just out of view as if they are watching you. They dim and brighten and move across the sky, sometimes in pairs. Also i do believe there is a triangle hanging somewhere. Most often this is in old Katy. As the sightings move closer to Mason and Fry area, they come lower from the sky. Yeah, they are UFOS. They look like stars but move across the sky. They have been here for years. More and more people have been noticing them. They will continue to be around for a long time to come. Keep looking up

Saw something in the sky last night around 11:00 last night over frye from my back porch ,at first I thought it was a plane going by ,but it just sat there for a while it was a triangle shape object with a glowing green and reddish glow , after awhile its shape seem to be rounder like a star then it appeared to be moving slowly no sound at all then it disappeared . Will be watching the sky tonight to see if it appears again . Joanne from katy near misty cove area!

I am glad I saw this post! I have always felt I was the only one who felt this way. I am a loyal sky watcher and in the last 3 years since I have aquired this hobby, I have seen hundreds of these orbs. I have also observed the entering of the objects on several occasions into our atmosphere. At first sight it appears to be a shooting star, but upon further observation you will clearly see the rapid deceleration of the object and the appearance of a combustion, where the ufo's seem to depart from that point. There will be a lot of light movement for a few minutes till they spred out, then they hover and watch. As the other poster said, they seem to know and respond to those who they know are watching them. It is the craziest thing and I still to this day wonder what these visits are about. Hope this helps.
