A really intriguing and detailed report of a spherical metallic-looking light has been submitted to TexasUFOSightings. According to the witness, the circular orb flashed red and then blue at one point and was very obviously under intelligent control, but no one else in the vicinity seemed to notice it: Was eating lunch in my vehicle in a parking spot overlooking the SA River just south of SE Military Dr. in the linear park. The elevation of the location is about 30 ft above the river. I was parked facing west and the river runs north and south (so perpendicular). No clouds and the visibility was crystal clear. I could see as far as the limitation of my own vision.

A balloon is a flexible bag that can be inflated with a gas, such as helium, hydrogen, nitrous oxide, oxygen, air. For special tasks, balloons can be filled with smoke, liquid water, granular media (e.g. sand, flour or rice), or light sources. Modern day balloons are made from materials such as rubber, latex, polychloroprene, or a nylon fabric, and can come in many different colors. Some early balloons were made of dried animal bladders, such as the pig bladder.
