"one of the Most Intense Moments of my Life" - Multiple Lights Spotted Over Fort Bliss

• What: Multiple objects, both hovering and traveling

A Texan who lives on a local military base spotted a star-like object that
was especially bright - the witness then noticed other smaller objects dropping
from it and eventually the UFO was joined by many more. In total, 10+ orbs
hovered and traveled, changing colors from blue to red to white, etc.

Could these have been Chinese lanterns? Or something far stranger and
scarier? Who would be launching Chinese Lanterns on a Tuesday morning at a military
base?

Later on, the UFOs gradually faded out as the sun rose. Here is the full
testimony, kindly submitted to Texas UFO Sightings:

At around five in the morning, I woke up out of nowhere and decided to take the
dogs out. It took me a second to notice a large, very bright, star-like object
hovering in the sky. It was brighter than any star I have ever seen. Then, I
noticed smaller objects coming from that "Star" and flying off in different
directions-- some stopping and hovering in place after getting a few hundred,
maybe even a couple of thousand feet from origin. I called for my husband at
this point, who was still sleeping. It took him a second to see what I was
talking about, but brushed it off and went back inside. After a few seconds, I
noticed an object practically floating through the air only a few houses down.
The object was mostly a bright orange light on top, then seemed to have a couple
of smaller colored lights on the bottom of it (red, blue, and almost a white).
For a second it looked as if it would pass right in front of me, but then it
turned, with no effort at all, and went back to hovering near the house I first
saw it near. I didn't realize how low it was until I saw it turn on what can
only be described as a type of search light. At this point, I'm shaking and a
little afraid. Not because whatever it was seemed dangerous, but that there were
many things in the sky and one unexplainable object floating in front of my
neighbors house, and there are no sirens, no government officials. I mean, we
live on base. Isn't there someone picking up at least just this one that is in
our neighborhood, let alone the 10 or 20 overhead? No one seemed to even notice
they were there. I ran back inside to get my husband to show him, to see if he
knew what it was or even if it was real, to be honest. By the time he finally
gave in and followed me outside, it was gone. The number of lights in the sky
stayed the same. Tiny dots flashing white, red, and blue. Hovering in place for
over an hour before I finally lost visual. But these objects didn't fly away at
super high speed. I never saw them leave their place in the sky. As the sun
started to come up, it seemed like they just turned off their blinking lights.
Blending in or now too hard too see against the sky without their  lights
blinking. The Star object stayed the longest. I never saw anything return to it.
It slowly got smaller and smaller, before finally being blocked by clouds. It
had to be one of the most intense moments or my life. I'll never forget what I
saw.
