A recent MUFON report (case 97332) included photos showing mysterious blue lights over Houston. According to https://fotoforensics.com, the basic witness description about the photos checks out. However, could these photos just show lens flares? As always, you be the judge: My friend was driving us to see Christmas lights in River Oaks neighborhood in Houston. It was 8:53pm and I took pictures of this house because I liked the flag on the front lawn. I took pictures in rapid secession lasting no more than one minute. We didn't notice the blue/white lights until we looked at the pictures at home. I submitted all my photos so you can see the 3-4 lights moving up and down and sidweays, over the house. I submitted a map of the location of the lights.

Lens flares from the hanging lights. As the camera aimed higher, the lights went higher. From the center line of the picture, the lights are the same distance as the flares.
