An Austin coupe witnessed multiple bright orange lights moving strangely and slowly through the sky. They eventually caught one of the lights on camera, before it disappeared behind a tree. Check out the footage and testimony graciously sent to TexasUFOs:
My fiancé and I were driving east on 290, right at the Y of oak hill where 290 and 71 meet to my house off of Old Bee Cave Rd (around 8:30 pm). The night prior, we had seen the planet Jupiter in the sky (confirmed with his skywalk app) and it was reddish in appearance. I noticed a orange dot in the sky thinking it was Jupiter again. As I pointed it out to my fiancé, I saw not one, but 3 orange orbs moving toward my left. I then realized this was not a planet and also noted two more trailing behind the other three, pretty low in the sky. They were all flickering randomly..not like a plane light. It was sporadic flickering. I watched the lowest orange orb flicker out and disappear. As we drove closer the other two disappear before our eyes. There was one left trailing behind that we continued to watch. My fiancé suggested they were jets, but we would have heard them if so. We heard nothing. They also seemed to be moving too slow to be jets. Also, he pulled up a map showing all of the flights flying over us in real time and there was not one aircraft nearby or flying over us. we drove up into my neighborhood which sits up on a hill and continued to watch it fly in an odd pattern.. it would fly up slightly and to the left.. unlike any plane I have ever seen. I took a video but I had the camera zoomed in too much to get a clear picture of it. In the video you will see a tower with red lights and to the left is the orb. After it disappeared behind the tree we drove and attempted to continue to follow it, but it disappeared. If there is any logical explanation to this I would love to hear about it, but this struck me and my fiancé both as extremely strange
Do you think this UFO could have been a Chinese lantern, or perhaps even a drone (that was also accompanied by other drones)? Or is this something more mysterious.... a spirit orb or alien satellite? What do you think?
