"Never Seen It Before In Our Lives" - Strange Red Light Shows Up Over Texas Ranch

• Where: Coryell (northwest of Temple)
• What: Bright red orb, moving in sky and blinking in strange pattern, followed by trail of more white and red lights

Here's a refreshingly detailed account of a set of red and then white lights that showed up at a Texas ranch and were witnessed by many. One of the witnesses shared testimony and a drawing of what they saw, and although they've never seen anything like this - TUS sure has.

The "main" UFO observed was a bright red light beacon that changed positions in the sky and had a very odd pattern of blinking:

3. 3 denotes the light going out, then white and red lights trailing on the hill

In the early morning hours of December 1, 2013, about 12:30 AM, in Coryell County, Texas. Myself and others were at our ranch house, when my cousin and I walked outside to talk. I immediately noticed a bright red light above the hill to the North East about 700 yards from where we were standing. This is the hill country, we are standing in a low spot of pastures surrounded by hills close enough to walk to in all directions in 20 minutes (even to the hill where the light is at). It was very bright, bright enough to know that we had never seen it before in our lives at the ranch. It seemed to hover above the treeline on the hill for a few minutes, then seemed to be under the treeline in a clearing on the hill.

The light was extremely bright red. It seemed like a red beacon light, with the following pattern: 

• Starting a blank black.
• Revolving left to right.
• Blank black.
• Revolving left to right.
• Blank black.
• Flashing to the right.
• Blank black.
• Flashing to the left.
• (repeat)

It briefly stopped for a minute or so, then started back up again. Others came out of the house to witness, then after a few more minutes it stopped.

Afterwards, we saw white lights, then red lights trailing on top of the hill and then all were gone.

(These seemed like car headlights and car taillights, maybe this red light was just a warning distress beacon light or something. Maybe somebody else. Has anybody seen something like this on the market today? I have searched the internet, but haven't found any light that exhibits these properties yet.)

In the morning, we had a rare direct flyover by 6 military helicopters flying in formation over the hill to the South. Followed by another formation of 4 over the East hill from the night before. Could be a coincidence, as we are close to Fort Hood, but we have never seen this sort of activity over our ranch in all of our generations there.
