5/20 Update: According to commenter "Fletcher," there were a few rocket boosters lighting up the sky on this night. Which could explain this sighting, or another one from the same night. A Houston area star gazer was surprised to see a glowing orange object move very quickly across the sky, followed by another object. There was a flickering fiery quality about them, but with no trail or sound, it's hard to assume these were meteors. This is a very similar sighting as one from April in Dripping Springs. Any ideas? Here's the full report, submitted to Texas UFO Sightings: Looking directly at Saturn and the setting crecent moon at 9:00 PM May 12 2013 from the GreatWood subdivision, an orange glowing object moved across the sky to the south and then approximately 2 minutes lates two more orange glowing objects moved across the sky flying in formation on the same trajectory. The objects clearly had the flame in the back and their were no navigation lights and the objects were clearly moving to fast to be a ballon. They appeared to have a flickering orange flame aft, and there appeared to be an object fairly long in front of the flame.
