February 1st, 2015 Update: Many, many folks saw this and reports keep coming in. A Houston, Texas resident spotted some twinkling lights in the sky. And no, they aren't stars! Or Chinese lanterns (at least not the traditional kind). What's interesting is this does not appear to be the only sighting; these lights may have been spotted in other nearby cities. Check out the video and testimony from the Houston sighting. Some screenshots first: Saw this Saturday night at 8:30pm in Houston. Just so happened I was out on my At least three people commented on the YouTube video and shared their similar encounters. Nolan Torres, for example, began his comment with "I saw these as well. It was crazy." There was also a MUFON report depicting an identical event in Houston on the same night. Texas UFO Sightings also received reports of strange, yet beautiful lights like these. Check them out: An undetermined number of orange lights flying at a consistent rate of speed, with consistent spacing, over a time period of approximately 15 minutes, heading in a roughly Northeasterly direction, to the best of our knowledge.
