I just came across a nicely detailed report of a hovering disc seen in East Texas. Check out the testimony submitted to NUFORC (case 160781):

Saw hovering disc above Denny’s that vanished.

I was driving with my fiancé to the Denny’s in Huntsville on Highway 30. The sky had light, wispy cloud coverage and it was bright and sunny. As I crossed the I-45 overpass, I witnessed a stationary object at around 315 degrees northwest west above the Denny’s restaurant. It appeared to be 200-300 feet in the air, but its hard to estimate accurately. I will say it appeared to be in front or in between low hanging wispy clouds. We had a light rain the previous night. The object appeared black on the bottom and silver/mirror reflective on the top, but again, it was difficult to see details due to my distance from it. It hovered as I headed towards the Denny’s and I shouted to my fiancé to look and she ignored me 😂. What gave me pause was the fact that I simply watched it vanish. It literally blinked out of reality within seconds of me talking about it. It looked as large as a commercial airliner in terms of width. The experience happen very quickly but! I’ve never seen anything like it. It didn’t look like any recognizable aircraft. It’s stillness was very zen, like it was just mounted perfectly there in the sky. I couldn’t discern any movement at all or see any exhaust fumes. I’ll make a drawing of what I saw.

Although we don't have photos or videos of the event, we do know what the UFO looked like, and where and when it was seen. So, if you also saw this strange disc as well, report your sighting!

I'm the person who made this report, I'm glad you reposted this. There's been about 5 times in my life that I've seen something anomalous, however this was the first time that I saw something during the day and it was the most profound. It was early in the morning, right before 8 am and we decided to go to the Denny's to get some breakfast. I don't know if you're familiar with Huntsville, but basically the town is divided in half, most of the population lives on the east side (the old side) that's separated by the I-45 overpass, that's where we live. Anyway, I saw this thing as I was crossing the overpass and it stayed in view for no longer than 5 to 10 seconds. It was windy that morning and the rain clouds from the night before were blowing south. So this object just appeared above the Denny's, when I say above the Denny's, it was probably 2-300 feet in the air. It was just hovering there, very still. It wasn't a drone, it was too big. Honestly, it made me panic a bit. I was like, what is that? I wondered if anyone else was seeing it. I started yelling at my fiancé to look, but I feel like once I started speaking about it, it decided to cloak itself. And that's the thing about it, the fact that it disappeared right in front of my eyes let me know that it wasn't anything normal. It's hard to explain, but in movies you'll see special effects where something becomes invisible. It's like that, but it's different if it's happening for real, it kinda shakes your reality. Also, I felt like it was still there and had cloaked itself cause I was calling attention to it. It was a disc shape, but when I think about it, it was kinda shaped like a hamburger with flat sides connecting the two halves - again it was hard to make out the details. It was shiny though, black on the bottom, shiny on top. The bottom could've been reflecting the blacktop below, I don't know. I know this might sound strange, but I feel like it was showing itself just for me, because it had this vibe like it was staring at me or monitoring my movements, I dunno.

Doesn't sound strange to me cause I know what I've already experienced & CONTINUE to experience. Thank you James for sharing your experience. I'm on Montgomery Rd same side of 45 as Denny's.
