2/25/2018 Update: I reached out to MUFON Director of Investigations Steve Hudgeons, Jr. for his expert take on this UFO sighting. According to Hudgeons, who kindly set aside time to help investigate, "case 90062 has been determined to be a hoax." During MUFON's investigation of the photograph, the organization found that the Exif data for the image (the standard metadata that comes with any modern-day media) was erased, and that the UFO in the photograph was most likely a simple reflection on a window or a lens flare, and not a UFO (MUFON was apparently able to conclude this after analyzing the photo at different contrast levels). Other reasons that Hudgeons and MUFON believe the case to be a hoax is that this is the second UFO report sent in by the witness (as well, the witness selected the default time of midnight for each report), the witness chose to report the sighting a long year after it occurred, and the witness will not respond to MUFON's request for contact. I don't find these latter reasons to be compelling enough to prove a hoax, but the theory that this photo shows a reflection or lens flare instead of a UFO is definitely valid. Hudgeons also suggests that the witness could have seen a large military drone, as there is a "UAV" or "unmanned areal vehicle" operating area in Fort Hood, located near the edge of the witness' home. What do you think? Share your ideas in the comments below or on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter). Do you live in Victoria, Texas? Did you also see this UFO last year? Report your sighting! Original story An interesting photo of a UFO was submitted to MUFON (case 90062), with the witness describing the object as being large, having multiple lights, and moving slowly. However, could this photo have been taken through a window? If so, it could be the reflection of something from inside. Or we could be looking at a lens flare. However, keep in mind that this witness claims to have seen this ship with their naked eye, and so that would rule out the above explanations and imply this is a hoax. What do you think? As always, you be the judge: Large moving object with bright lights...

on april17,2018 at approximately 1:20 am i went outside and dont remember why. but i looked across minitre rd. and i saw some lights across the street hovering above the trees but they were at a far distance i would estimate three miles away. i kept looking at the lights and the object was not moving so i thought. But what made ..me realize it was an unknown object and of considerable size was that after ten fifteen minutes it would cut off its lights. in a about a minute and a half it would turn its lights on again. It took at least 30 to 40 minutes to descend behind the tree line.I got up on a bench and plastic bucket that is on my porch and i could see it again .
