Spooky Sounds in Fort Worth Recorded

• What: Strange high-pitched sounds

A Fort Worth resident has recorded some bizarre screeching and - honestly - quite intimidating sounds echoing throughout his neighborhood. As unmistakable as the sounds are, there are no dogs barking.

The recording was kindly sent to Texas UFO Sightings by reader Greg N:

Here's his testimony, apparently this was a repetitive sound:

Strange sound repeated about 4 times before I went out to try to record. Caught sound on last reputation. The sounds repeated with about 3-5 minutes of silence between. When I went outside and recorded, I saw no visible source of the sound. The sound seemed to come from due east of my house. It was very loud but it didn't set off the dogs across the street.

A video featuring more strange sounds in Houston was also uploaded to the web several days later, but the lack of a video description makes it a little more suspect. It's difficult to tell if it's borrowing audio from videos of other strange earth sounds happening around the world, or if is actually just a continuation of this phenomenon?
