If these sightings are related, the UFO may have first showed up in Hawaii on October 9th before moving to Texas and Missouri days later:
Kingwood, TX October 11th around 9 PM

White then orange then gone

I didn't put a real name but I was on my porch like most nights and see plenty of planes going to humble but tonight I thought I was looking at a star or plane and then it exploded in orange and shot off high into the sky and disappeared. I've never seen something like it and do not believe in aliens but I saw something very strange and went online to see if anyone else did. I have not seen an explanation.

Strange hovering. Constant disappearing

I was out star gazing and first this light is flying across the sky. I thought it was a satellite until it came to a halt and legit disappeared. Then these two large dots appear in the sky and I her my telescope to see them and when i look up from my telescope they’re gone. Then I’m out looking for more just a sec ago and the crickets stop chirping and weird noises start coming from the forest

As I was sitting outside with my husband we stared at the stars like always...i saw something that looked like a moving star...as I followed it in the sky it got brighter and brighter...like the size of a coin...i got scared because I had a dream the night before that something from the sky fell and there was chaos...the brighter it got it looked like it was gonna fall out of the sky but out of no where it dimmed out...i then saw another moving object behind it but it was blinking bright and out of rhythm...then they were gone..i was completely out of words..iv see these things before in zig-zag motion...but never like this...it was amazing

Kansas City, MO October 12th at 9:15 PM

Witnessed a descending ball of light dart from the sky towards the ground, possibly off into the horizon.

We were in the car driving north around 9:15pm. It was totally dark. We noticed the light when it started to zoom downwards/towards the horizon. We noticed the light because it was so much brighter than the other lights around it such as street lamps or car headlights. It seemed to move extremely fast and we only saw it for a second. It moved much faster than a plane or helicopter when you see them flying in the sky. We were excited to see something like this, as it is different than anything we have ever seen before. We lost sight of the object when it seemingly zoomed off into thin air.

What could people be seeing? A simple shooting or falling star/meteorite or could this be a crashing satellite or ship? Many fireball reports were submitted to AMSMeteors.org during this time frame, but none were isolated to one spot on the globe as you'd expect with a single, large fireball. I saw something in in the Sky Oct 12th 2017. Last Thu. I was leaving my house about 5:00 Am. I live in the Country Outside Hillsboro Tx. There was what I thought was a bright Star to the West. At first I thought it was Venus cause it’s a bright star. But then I saw Venus was in the SE so I watched it for a minute and realized it was moving. It was the brightest light in that part of the Sky and I came to the Conclusion it was closer than I thought. And it seemed to be headed in my general direction. Then. It just disappeared gotta admit it kinda Freaked me out. It wasn’t a plane cause there wasn’t any Flashing lights. I have no idea what it was. But figured it might be relevant to these sightings
