An avid sky watcher has snapped a shot of two UFOs, a huge sun-like object sitting next to a darker object, slowly moving through the sky. At first glance, this appears to be a mundane picture of the sun, with a cloud covering part of it. However, the witness says the shadows tell a different story - that it's not the sun (which is directly overhead, out of frame) - or an eclipse. This is not the first time this person has seen a similar sighting in Bastrop. The full report of the May 6th sighting, from UFOCasebook.com: Before you discount this as the sun, please look at the shadows. I’m going to send it from my iPhone also as you may get better resolution. I have sent you several photos in the past, some were excellent from Ireland.
I consider this one to be good. It is the third time I have seen an UFO over Bastrop in this same area. Just this is the first time I managed to get a photo. Here is my report; Though this appears to be an eclipse of the sun, it is not. The time is 12:45 PM on May 6, 2012. We were going to lunch in Bastrop, Texas when I saw two objects in the sky. I had my wife pull over so that I could roll down the window and take a photo with my new iPhone. If you notice, the shadows from the actual sun indicates it is almost directly overhead. The first thing I saw was a round shadow moving through the clouds and to the far left of the sign there is a second much smaller object that at the time appeared diamond or triangular in shape. I was trying to catch both in the photo. I did not see the white circle that appears to be the sun or moon until I looked at the photo. Both objects were gone immediately after I took the picture. When I aimed the camera, there was only the dark shadow and the white object to the left. The object to the left appeared to be much deeper in the sky, but due to the difference in size I could be misjudging it a bit. Both objects appeared to be moving much slower than an airplane. When I first saw the shadow object it appeared to have a firm, circular shape on one side, the left. I have no idea where the sun-looking object was or if it’s a reflection. Last year you published a photo I sent you that was taken of an object over the same area of Bastrop. It was taken from east and some north of Bastrop several miles away. The location over the city was the same plus this is my third sighting in the same area. Best regards, P.
