On April 2nd, a fiery UFO shot across the sky in San Antonio. News outlets - and NASA - first speculated that it was a mere symptom of April fireball season, a mundane meteor. Then NASA changed its mind and said it was a jet contrail.
There was also a recent fireball sighting on the same night in Palm Beach, Florida.
