The Lights in the Texas Sky blog has written up a great post about recent UFO sightings all over Texas - from League City to Katy. Apparently, on May 19th, residents all over the Lone Star State, as well as Missouri and Pennsylvania, saw red/orange lights moving in formations. This sighting is just like the mass sighting that made the news in Texas City (near League City) and is still unexplained! It's also similar to the red/orange lights seen the week of May 14th in various Texas cities, especially San Marcos. Here's a picture of the more recent event, from a Mesquite, TX and League City resident. A few days after this sighting, there was a mass sighting of a fireball-like object over Central and North Texas, according to ElPasoAllSky.com. Here's video of the League City sighting, from May 18th and 19th. And here's video of what appears to be the same UFOs in Mesquite the same night: Here are some testimonies from Lights in the Texas Sky: League City: "Only for about a minute as we were driving home. They were traveling along Louisiana Ave north towards 518. Figured it was either some event for Kemah or something heading back to Ellington Field. I thought it might have been fire from a hot air balloon but could not see the outline of either a balloon or basket. It looked too low and flying too slow to be a conventional aircraft and the light was solid and bright and not blinking. Either way it was weird." "On May 19th, 2012 around 9:15 pm we also observed these six red lights moving in the sky from our backyard (facing Louisiana Street), going north. After the initial six lights there was one additional light following from a distance. They just faded out after several minutes. (Had enough time to notice them, go inside and get a camera and they were still there)." Mesquite : "We saw this in mesquite texas tonight may 19, 2012. They were just reddish lights hovering in the sky. There were I believe 6. They were slow moving and we watched them about a couple minutes before they disappeared. It was just about right at 10pm, and I do believe that they were headed north." Katy: "I had just returned from the grocery store when I noticed very bright lights travelling from the Southeast and heading West. The lights were Orange to red in color. There were two groups of three lights and they were in roughly the same orientation as the photograph from League City. They made no sound. There were no red strobes or green lights like on aircraft. They moved slowly across the sky. I was able to follow the first light all the way across the sky until I lost it in Venus (or whatever planet is in the western sky shortly after sunset). The other lights turned white and then disappeared one by one." Read more eyewitness accounts.

This has also happened throughout Arkansas! I saw similar orange lights near my rural home in central Arkansas nearly seven years ago, and my brother just called me a few minutes ago to tell me that he saw the same ones in Fayetteville (located in northwest Arkansas) tonight. I can't wait to hear more about it!

My daughter in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas called my on 12/3/12 to say at about 7 pm central time there were three fast moving orange lights and engine sounds so loud it shook the ground. This is the second time they've experienced this phenomenon in their area. No explanations were given when reported to and then observed by local law enforcement..
