"These lights were unlike anything my husband or I have ever seen...I called the local police" - UFOs Reported Over Houston Area

• Where: Northwest Houston area (Jones Rd and White Oak Bend)
• What: Circular red lights flying in formation

An interesting UFO sighting was reported to local police and TexasUFOs. Karey described seeing red-orange orbs travel in triangle formation, and even disappearing, over the Houston area in recent testimony sent to TexasUFOs:

Sitting outside at 1945 looking West into night sky.
Noticed a very large array of red orange lights that were in groups of 3 or 4 (chevron shaped formations) following one group behind another from about 5' above western horizon up to about 35'. The lights when around 30 to 35' would fade out and disappear completely. There was an airplane almost directly overhead during this observation. My husband and other people visiting this venue also saw the lights. We live in the flight path of George Bush Intercontinental Airport and are used to seeing Airplanes on approach.. these lights were unlike anything my husband or I have ever seen. I called the local police to see if anyone had reported the lights.
I also called KHOU in Houston and again asked if they had had any reports of strange lights. I do not know how to contact Bush IAH control tower,
but cannot believe that their radar would not have indicated such a large "event" of lights or objects. I and my husband are in our 60's it looked to me like objects flying in a definite formation up to were they just disappeared. UFO's ?? UNEXPLAINED.. Would like to know if your organization could help investigate this occurrence further. Thank you

Since the witness had trouble reaching out, I went ahead and contacted the Bush International Airport for a comment. I will update the story if I hear back!

What do you think of this recent UFO sighting in Texas? Is it possible that Karey mistook Chinese lanterns, military flares, or something else man-made for UFOs? Or could aliens be visiting Houston?
